@THEATREofPAIN270 Mick wasn't underrated, since he was never that great to begin with, at least during this time.However, he got better later on after taking guitar lessons. Anyhow, considering that this song came out during the time of 'hair metal', which was the heyday of technical rock guitar, well...Mick was a lightweight at best. However, with that being said, Crue did quite well during this time, and I respect them for that.

I agree about Mick Mars being one of the best guitarists. Anyone can cover the song but he came up with the guitar tracks. Not to mention that he has suffered from AS since he was 17, a very bad form of spinyl arthritis. He has shrunk 6 inches in the spine and still tours. Now that kicks ass!

I don't think people know how much Niki Six was the driving force of this band. Shit, 3/4 of there first album show him as a sole songwriter in trhe credits. Fucking epic.

the band, in general, set a pace for a lot of other bands to come. But Mick Mars was far from an amazing guitarist. See him live, and really pay attention to his playing, He screws up a lot, even today. The band just had an over all sound that kicked ass and got them the recognition.
