If USC played in the SEC they'd be another LSU, bama, or UF having an average of 1-2 losses per year.. mabye so.
BUT... the difference is USC recruits all over the country making the pac10 lopsided in talent. the SEC has to share recruits so it's respectable that teams are still good.

First off, you don't know your shit obviously. Florida never would have played USC in the title game, it was Florida if USC lost or USC if they won against OSU. They never would have faced USC. Although I will admit it probably would have been a better game than OSU vs. Florida, the Big Ten is always overrated.

Everything worked out nicely for USC. Florida, who barely made it to the national championship, won it outright against favored to win Ohio State. Michigan was upset that USC had a chance @ the National Championship, but USC did not go because they lost to UCLA. However, USC played Michigan in the ROSE BOWL and destroyed them. It was 32-11 until the final mins when they put in 2nd & 3rd strings. Michigan proved they didn't deserve the national championship or even "2nd prize", the Rose Bowl.

Florida and Miami are schools we make fun of on the West coast. The history and tradition of athletics is much better at UCLA, USC, and Stanford (the three schools with the most NCAA team championships--in that order). Plus, all three of these California schools are elite academic institutions, not just jock farms!
