Songs like this are gold! I grew up with the Muppet Show and had their songs so strongly implanted in my mind that when I heard other versions, even the original versions, I thought they were cheap copies of the songs sung on the Muppet show. Lynda Carter's Orange Colored Sky and Rubberband Man, Melissa Manchester's Don't Cry Out Loud and Whenever I Call You Friend, Joan Baez's Will the Circle Be Unbroken, just to name a few. Long live the classic Muppet Show!
Great stuff! I can't help thinking that she wasn't expecting the explosion at 0:31, or at least she wasn't expecting it to be so close to her - she seems a little taken aback by it...
I remember watching that episode when I was 6 years old...and waited all the way through for Linda Carter to turn into Wonder Woman...and was very disappointed when she didn't! Great to see it again!
This one IS my favorite episode. I also like the one where the Electric Mayhem are play classic music and Animal snaps in the drums lol. But this is the best simply because it is Lynda.
she's beautiful (: and her voice is amazing! (: <3

I recently heard the real (Dean Martin?) version, and I actually prefer this version.

"FLASH!" "BAM!" "ALACAZAM!"
The Muppets don't use as much pyro explosions as they did with this classic sitcom of The Muppet Show.
Other than Linda Carter, I knew that Christopher Reeve was also on The Muppet Show, too. But wasn't Adam West (Batman) on The Muppet Show, too?

@1985Nebraska I wish Adam West had done one. Would have been awesome!
