  • fuck yeah

    that show was insane

  • just saw these guys play live in cleveland ohio with reel big fish. Those young punks didn't appreciate the true beauty of this band. They hardly danced!! How terrible is that?? lol. English Beat puts on an absolutely amazing show.

  • i saw them with rbf and the crowd danced almost more to them than rbf

  • Wher'd you see them?

  • the national richmond va

  • I'm 20 and i just saw them at that tour in st. louis, and these dumb kids my age were moshing, it was like they didn't know what they were listening to. i was disappointed with the crowd, i felt like the only one my age that really appreciated them, the English Beat is one of my favorite ska bands

  • Hahaha! I thought I was the only one dancing! I was in the front just skanking away with my sister. I screamed the whole time and David made fun of me. I talked to one kid and he said he didn't know who the English Beat was! I told him he obviously didn't know ska... I am your age and I danced! :) And then I met David and got taken backstage by Antonee First Class. What a night!

  • Felt the same when i once went to a show, i think it was streetlight manifesto.

Everyone just started moshing like it was black flag.

  • who cares ?? the enlish beat or THE BEAT .just go and see the guys its all ska. THANK GOD

  • this is The English Beat, because Dave started it up again in the US with different members. The Beat reside in the UK and is led by Rankin' Roger and Rankin Junior.

  • Won't forget the first time I heard this song on John Peel's program on the BBC World Service. Was the extended version, and highlighted to me why they were much worth listening to... and still are, going by this clip.

  • I first these guys in 1983 at the University of Rochester. (NY). The opening band...................R.E.M!!!!!

  • they are called the beat, not the english beat
