This brings back memories. I remember first getting this game for my N64 snd we popped it in and we played a cave level with this theme. We bought it used so we were alittle ahead. I still have it on my N64 and I feel like playing it right now.
Damn, I just tonight realised how awesome this piece is! It's so crazy, the background sounds so intricate, so fast, yet managing to stick together with that "Kirby Trumphet" that makes up the main tune!
yea limitations breed creativity. they used to make awesome music without much equipment. now they have all this advanced stuff for a fuller sound but don't do anything creative with it.
yeah its like all of the best games are the old ones, every year that went by a new mario party was released, with incredibly better graphics, audio, and capabilities, yet the n64 versions were best and the wii was the worst one. i think we need to take evolution of graphics a bit slower so we can instead make quality gameplay like crystal shards
I remember playing this game when I was 8 years old (16 now) I loved everything about this game and rented it over 3 times ....but never bought it...... I like the factory music the most because it fills me with a desolate longing for the past.
No but I intend to buy one the next time i'm in walmart and they actually have one in stock! lol at least Nintendos selling good I was worried about them in the gamecube days.
I rented this game a long time ago. This music is the reason why I liked playing the game so much. This was my favorite song aside from the ruins. It made me feel like I was a spy on a mission going through a laser maze or something.
Yeah, me too! Can you believe they didn't have it (or Catacombs, for that matter) on the official soundtrack? I had to find a complete Gamerip in order to find this song. :o
Nintendo do know how to get good music for their games.

why can't new games have awesome music like the N64? I love this

it's all that fully-orchestrated crap. "let's make it sound fancy, so we don't have to make it sound memorable"

@luvtehcomix You apparently don't recognize quality video game music when you encounter it.

like what? the halo soundtrack? yeah, i get that stuck in my head all the time...
gimme mario, megaman, zelda, metroid, kirby, no more heroes, okami, blazblue, sonic, etc anyday.

It's a Kirby 64 Gamerip. Some guy on Galbadia Hotel made it, because the OST was incomplete and failed.
scratch799 2 years ago
what were they thinking when they didn't include this on the soundtrack? probably the best song in the whole game and it's not there...
rockhead2245 3 years ago 2
Agreed. As epic as the music in the game was, the OST is epic failure.

I'm surprised this didn't make the cut.

I love K64 music! All of it!

This song reminds me of tom sawyer by rush. I like it a lot though. I would always play dededes castle just to listen to it.

Nice mixture of soul music and hip hop beats. You can tell this music was made to appeal to a wide audience...
holyvampirealucard 3 years ago
Which makes it even weirder that they didn't fit it into the OST. XD
scratch799 3 years ago
Hmm...
You know I've never actually seen anybody give this song any recognition at all before seeing this video's comments...
molhal 3 years ago 4
It deserves recognition; it's pretty catchy.
scratch799 3 years ago
Yeah. It was my personal favorite from the game

You should definitely buy it. The collection aspect of this game is beautifully executed, and the final boss is fun to play against.
scratch799 3 years ago
I want to buy it but every time I go to a store that sells used N64 games they never have it =(
Protoking 3 years ago
Do you have a Wii? It's availiable on the Virtual Console y'know.

No but I intend to buy one the next time i'm in walmart and they actually have one in stock! lol at least Nintendos selling good I was worried about them in the gamecube days.

Oh, really? Then maybe I should look into going online with it, cause I REALLY want to play Kirby 64 now.

Hahaha, you're getting older and older. You'll be 40 before you know it.

It would be awsome if they made a SSB verison of this song!

Really? It sparked my imagination too, but I never got that idea from it... It was more of an "underground jazz cave" feel.

I like this music a lot. I was just playing this game also 0_o
