that rumor is true however my macbook is spotless with no cracks. the cracks occur on the inner material lining of the maccbook at the bottomright/left sides (near where you open the macbook and where your palms rest when u are typing) the cracks are quite ugly so i am careful with that area of the macbook and mine is perfect.

cos on macs u cant upgrade your hard drive.

but u can upgrade ur ram so i would stick with the standard amount of ram and add to the hard drive.

then if u think u need more ram, just buy some and put it in ur macbook.

and tip (if u didnt already know this): if you go to school cloage or university or somthing like that... you can get discount. its not much but it helps
