What is clear is that LTTE arose from the acts of past SL authority atrocities, and became a serious force of rebellion. The LTTEs recent downfall leaves the Tamils of the country exposed to further atrocities. Given the history of SLA's treatment of the Tamils in the island shouldn't the International Community take a more active role in safeguarding the minority?
