When it comes down to it, is the Lone Wanderer's sacrifice REALLY the right thing to do? When Fawkes activates the Purifier, NOBODY dies. Everyone in that room gets to continue on with their lives.

Perhaps, the Lone Wanderer goes on to save more lives by surviving that day. Maybe he or she could do many more selfless acts. It's possible that without the Lone Wanderer, innocent people would die.

When it comes down to it, dying that day would be a very selfish thing. Bethesda got it wrong.

It is very hard to get rid of, and goes through everything, radiation dust sticks to everything. It changes the chemical bonds of living tissue which causes it to mutate into something the DNA didn't plan it to mutate into. But I guess taking harder courses in HS or spending 10 min on this online is too fucking hard.
