@grizzllyten; Thank you very much for your help. Very sad, but it comes to confirm that Freddie had extraordinary qualities, not just as an artist, but like a person. Indeed , those enormous expressions of art he left us, aren`t any different than his power to deal with human passions, Love, Courage, understanding, freedom. God bless him wherever he is now.
@grizzlyten, thank you so much for your help. I am not english and I think I do not understand well her las sentence while she says: " I saw depths of this person that was an exaggeration of what was, of what had been primarily there... all those years. And I respected and admired him even more". I am not sure if what she means is that she got ot know even a deeper person comparing with the exageration she saw...??¿?¿ Thank you again for your help.
@mjacksonsday29august Hi! She's saying that the illness brought out or exaggerated the admirable qualities that Freddie already had within himself. In his final days, these qualities became more obvious to her, and because of this, she respected him even more than she did before. So yes, you could say that she attained a deeper understanding of the man.
i cant even imagine how he felt. freddie mercury- party animal, he loved to drink and smoke and have sex and go to clubs every night. i just cant even begin to think how heartbreaking it must have been for him and everyone who used to party with him, that now all of a sudden he cant do any of these things which he loved. those last 4-5 yrs had to have been horrible- even while he was still ok. losing everything he loved- all that made him who he was. he was very strong. RIP Freddie :)
@grizzlyten would you please write me down what mary says from 5:32 on? I can`t understand her. Thank you so much! Thank you for everything..this is so sad and painful. Freddie was such an incredible dign and strong person in front of others. I also love Peter, he was so good with him..
@mjacksonsday29august Thank you! Sure, Mary says, "I saw a man become incredibly brave. I saw a man become incredibly emotional at times. I saw depths of this person that was an exaggeration of what was, of what had been primarily there... all those years. And I respected and admired him even more".
