@webduelist No matter how true that is, you can't deny 4G is faster. I have Wi-max with Sprint, and its just as fast as LTE but LTE over time will get faster while Wi-max stays the same. On my phone when I turn on 4G, I get 7-12 Mbps. With 3G I get 0. 75 Mbps and under. Therefore, any type of 4G is dramatically faster.

So i'm really not sure what all the fighting is about you jailbreak a iphone and root a android phone, they both basically become the same thing. What is all the bull shit about 4G, it's not even a standard nobody has reached LTE levels yet. They just did a network study and the best you can get is 12 mbits. Which has got congress involved asking carriers to put things in writing. That you "could get" LTE 100 mbits but only if they install the hardware in tower's. Not happening in real life yet. One reason they have MIMO in the phones with 2 antennas.

Who the hell signs a contract these days is nuts, Just buy it, own it and use it.

Even the ipad, its just a big ipod touch, they've taken a step backwards with it. When I heard the iPhone 4 was coming out and came out and then learned the specs, I sold my 32gb 3GS that was old and used and then bought another 32gb 3GS instead of buying an iPhone 4 because for an iPhone coming out so many years after the 1st one and not having much better technology or features then it predecessor, the 3GS, I thought it would be a waste to get it since they were selling the 3GS for so cheap after the release of the iPhone 4.
