@MetalForTheMetal 650 = 649cc. But CC doesn't matter that much. It's HOW the engine space is used. For example = A ZX-6R only has 599cc but it's much faster than a 650 which has 649cc because they've put better parts on it that are for supersport performance. And BTW, 2012 650's don't have an R at the end.
what sucks is when youre in second, you go to shift, accidentally put the bike in first, and then shift up back into second and think you're going to be in third.......hasn't happened to me in a while though, fortunately
So do you fit fine on this bike for your height? I am a beginner and was browsing around for a good and kind of fast. Which bikes are better Kawasaki or Yamaha?
bike was comfy as hell - im a kawasaki guy for life. Great bike to start on - just got a ZX636R so I have sold my 650 - but put 16,000 miles on it in a year and a half

I dont think youre a squid... Ive seen your other vids, youre a damn good rider. But all the people I see that leave their feet off are squids, not to mention it looks kind of weird IMO.
I agree with you should put your fit up and on when you feel that the bike is nice and balance enough at low speeds to do so. So unless you are being chased by the cops don't worry about it IMHO.
i might be dumb for asking this, but is 650r the same as 650cc?

Why?
I know they're fast, but for some reason I like the 650's. What's funny about that?

@DaleCaliente why whats wrong with the 650r? some people dont like super sports because of the low handle bars and higher seat height.

Sounds like you missed second gear. (wink)
