For warranties, user manuals, etc. I have a 3-ring binder with clear plastic sleeves that I use (one sleeve per appliance). This has come in handy so many times and is easy to purge the information when I get rid of an appliance as well as add a new sleeve when I buy something.

just saying but i don't think storing your wallet right next to the front door is such a great idea since you can easily get robbed.
