wish i could teach them to not go for road kill. i see them all the time smashed on highway i-69 by my home in indiana. we have tons of them here. they are beautiful. also there is a eagle/raptor reserve marsh. they get tons of eagles that get smacked by semi's on the road during migration. broken wings and legs ,can't fly. they rehab them if they can and set them free. but its just sad. i would think after seeing traffic all the time they would not land there they are so intelligent n beautiful
I thought they were cool too.... until 1 attacked me. My scalp got a pretty good gash from a nesting one.

Red tailed hawks also own the call that you hear in most movies for bald eagles. Eagles have a shitty call!

Those are gulls at the end of the video, not nighthawks. The very last bird at the end is a Red-tailed.

at the end those aren't hawks they are birds not of prey pestering the Hawk because obviously they may have a nest somewhere..nice vid though
