  • True conservatism died out a while back.....the Republicans of the recent past were not true conservatives.

The real reason for the economic down-turn is the our straying from pure free market principles and increasing government control over the private industry through subsidization and taxation.

  • Are you honestly going to say that traditional American, free market conservatism is 'Big Gov't?'

If so, you are ignorant of historical conservatism.

And like I just said....conservatives HAVE NOT BEEN IN POWER for the past 8 years. Republicans, yes...conservatives, no. The terms don't mean the same thing, if you haven't figured that out by now....

  • what i was saying and what i meant, was that Reps pretend they dont want Big Gov. but when they get into power that abuse it,JUST as Dems do. Both parties are guilty of that.

but stop being naive into thinking the Reps make Gov any smaller. Bush is a good example of how power can be abused. The Conservative or Liberal concept aint always reality.

conservatives havent been into power the last 8 years? u could have fooled me. if Bush is not conservative, why did yall re-elect him ??????

  • I agree that today's Republicans are in the business of expanding government control.

But to think that Bush was a true conservative!?!?!

Who was the conservative alternative to the incumbent whom we could have elected? We had Bush (Big Gov. Moderate) vs. Kerry (Big Gov. Liberal).

  • He wasn't moderate, come on.

  • Thanks for the example of the typical, kneejerk, liberal tendency towards racism. You made your point long before the "BLACK UNCLE TIME SELLOUT" comment.

  • Tell you what.

If you're just here to show how much better you are than us sell outs, learn how to spell and use proper grammar.

Then again, never mind. Then you wouldn't be authentic.

  • LOL!!!! see, u think just like a bigot.

See, i know im right, and u know it too. u wont admit it.

Bryant Gumble talks better than u & he is Liberal.

I wouldn't be authentic? Pa.... see the attitude that u have? thats why we dont like Uncle Toms like u, Total disgrace.

Why u pretend that Conservatives and Liberals didn't switch Parties?

Why do u pretend the the Reps r the same Reps of the old days, when now days, they oppose of anyone that helps black ppl. which party supports the Rebel flag?

  • Oh, and you keep on supporting those you've supported for years and haven't done shit for blacks despite the promises and your sucka support.

  • You are 100% correct! I was in a convo with family members & mentioned how black biz ownership & gov contracts increased during Reagan years & decreased during Clinton years, and they about ran me out of the house. "Black leaders" such as Sharpton, Jackson, etc., have done little. HIV, decaying family and community, huge H.S. dropout rates have all happened under their "leadership" yet most blacks don't hold them accountable to anything.

  • I'd kinda like to take this debate back to something resembling civilisation by pointing out that

1)Racism has no political colour, social class, etc. Liberals are no more racist, on the whole, than conservatives (most racist groups tend to be right-wing when it comes to society and left-wing when it comes to economics - see Fascism etc).

  • 2) The economic downturn is actually due to a lack of regulation. How anyone could say it was to do with overregulation (when it was down to banks trading in bad loans) is beyond me. Look at history. Wall Street Crash, 1929: wild speculation without regulation leads the banks to collapse. Now: Wild trading of "sub-prime" mortgages leads to collapse of banks. Samey-samey.

  • Stop pointing the finger of blame and suggest something that should be done about it. And no "Let's just stick our thumbs up our arses and hope it all goes away" is not a proper answer (I'm looking at you David Cameron).

    3) McCain was born to a military family. It'd be a bit dickish if he wasn't given the very thing his father was fighting to protect.

  • And where exactly did the sub-prime designation come from?

  • "Look at History"

I'm sorry, but historical revisionism isn't actual history, no matter how much you want it to be.

You apparently one of those Keynesian nutjobs.

Hoover's bailout policies led to the Depression because it didn't allow for the purging of toxic assets that arose from the false growth of the 1920's. Instead of leaving the crash alone and allowing the resulting recession to run its course, Hoover inflated the bubble until it burst.

  • Actually, Hoover was the "do nothing, no intervention" candidate. As for FDR, there's still a lot of debate as to whether his policies made a difference either way, but to say that he was responsible for the Depression's length is inaccurate.

What caused the Depression was speculators who couldn't afford to lose speculating and losing.

  • "Hoover was the 'do nothing, no intervention' candidate."

Try looking at history. Hoover had multiple bailout policies. The fact that you said that discredits anything you have to say.

  • Oh, sorry, I genuinely meant "was considered/painted as such by his opponents".

As in, he didn't do *enough*.

  • ...Add that to FDR's New Deal, which expanded the Depression's length, you get the Great Depression. Government intervention only exacerbates financial decline.

  • I would have voted for you Bob!

Congress: It didn't take long to run into an "uh-oh" moment when reading the House's "health care for all Americans" bill. Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance ILLEGAL.

    Liberal Fascism

  • If Democrats didn't control 99% of all media, then this guy would have his own TV show.

  • awesome work :)

  • Liberals are creating slavery. AGAIN! ! ! !

Enjoy working for I.O.U.'s....can you eat those?

    Liberalism is America's biggest disgrace.

  • if i lived in massachussetts, i woulda voted for ya Bob.

  • Yeah, it's just not fair that some guy starts a small business that grows into a large business and makes millions of dollars, it's just not fair!

Hahaha! I remember Obama saying the American Recovery and Generational Theft Act would keep unemployment under 8% Whoops!

I guess Biden was right, they didn't read the economy correctly. So what will they do? Oooh, let's do another stimulus because this one will work. Yeah, right!

  • If they do another one, there goes the dollar

  • Amen, Bob! This "Obama guy" is a disaster for America.

  • the premise that any race, nationality or gender must think all like another because of how they are treated as a whole, rather than individually sickens me.

  • Keep up the good work Bob. You're doing an excellent job with these videos. We need more people like you in this country who see through the deception created by politicians like Obama and Pelosi.

  • Bob, I would gladly vote for you. It's too bad a lot of blacks hate black conservatives.

  • Bob what has happened to my Country ? I would love to have the mind set of a Liberal so I could see the positive out of this administration. I certainly don't see it.

  • vote Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would vote for you!

  • Bob you are the man.

  • Excellent video as always.
