3:30 Pollution (smoke etc) does increase precipitation so maybe the big guns did encourage rain.

@johniwuji Indeed. One of the aspects let of of the documentary was the cost payed by non-europiens. The "colonies" had thousands of troops drafted to the front line as well as being sights of fighting. I have recently uploaded a different WWI documentary that covers this area of the Great War
