@kylerdamion I had to install a Ford rearend because of axle issues. I have Goodyear MT/R 32X11.50's on my 93 yj. Stock axles are ok if you are just in mud. But, soon as you hit a hard spot or sand=Snap!
@8607flowerphone i like a cj for its looks , but a yj has stronger frame it wont rust or crack and off road is so much better in a fuel injected jeep.i drive a 95 and wouldnt want to drive any other jeep newer or older,or any other car or truck.
im not even black or gay i just like my rav with my old man emu 3/4'' lift and 26'' tiers. i think you need to talk to someone about asking me to kiss you privite part, maybe you need to go to a gay bar in your jeep and meet a life partner you might feel better about yourself
The Wrangler (also known as the YJ, TJ, JK, and J8 (Military version) as explained below) Instead, 1987 to 1995 models were sold as YJ, 1997 to 2006 models were TJ's . The model designations are used throughout the world in the Jeep enthusiast community to differentiate which model is being spoken of instead of using the more ambiguous term "Wrangler" and help identify specifics about Wranglers.
body lift was a little lower but it fives a better ride on the highway. for me give me leaf's and I will replace the fillings in my teeth but wont bottom out :)
ok im looking at different lift kits im only in college and tight on cash i just want it so i can comfortably fit 32 in tires with some rub if nessasary some people tell me dont go with shackles others say they are fine. do shackles change driving ability or handling? thanks
It depends on what you want to do in the future. If you are just using this on the street with snow and ice then not much has to be done. If you are going into the back country then a 3 inch lift with 32 tires may be needed. Also make sure if you goal is to go into the woods, you save up for a good winch.
If you go up truck hill, there is a trail that follows all the way to the top of the park. You will know your on that trail when you see all the small rocks.

suspension is the main difference
everything else is the same
the YJ had wider that Cj leaf springs
the TJ's had coil springs and the
body lift was a little lower but it fives a better ride on the highway. for me give me leaf's and I will replace the fillings in my teeth but wont bottom out :)

Do you have lockers in front or rear? And is your stock sway bar still connected?
jpyavin5 3 years ago
The Quick-release sway bar is disconnected. This Jeep does have F/R ARB air lockers, but they were installed after this video was taken
MatthewTheViking 3 years ago
@MatthewTheViking when you mean stock you mean stock drivetrain such as the D30/35?
