  • Pandora just led me to this. Win.

  • My headphones have an open design, and I thought the alarms at the end were actually around me!

  • Black Majesty is also great, as well as Serenity, Twilightning, Nocturnal Rites, Edguy, and Dark Moor (plenty other good ones of course)

  • Soul Quenching! Dead Remaines..You never forget how people make you feel. (~,_~)

  • The vocalist sounds a little bit like Kiske of Helloween, but vocal didn't squeals, as even in Helloween, nor trying to be always and everywhere. .. Is mature, both musically .Maybe will be with me for longer..

    Inteligent power metal;)

  • Kamelot will never be the same without Roy khan

  • @BulletRocker409 unfortunatelly you're right T_T

  • Every song on this album rocks my socks

  • very beautifull, excelent song

  • Excellent, the Annoying Orange no longer shows up in the suggestion list! My previous disappointment has been erased.

  • this is the first ive heard from this band..great music, i must say..

  • I forgot how much I love this album.

  • LOVE THIS DAMN SONG

  • Please do not forget Blind Guardian amongst the best power metal bands... They have defined the genre along with Helloween... Kamelot carries the flame more than worthily though.

  • @CeevilEngineer blind guardian. for the fucking win. i saw them in concert as my first show and it was EPIC

  • Wow : D What everyone really should do is get a high quality headset, go out somewhere with no other then yourself and listen to this song! I did it :3 I went behind our house and walked through the forest until I got to a beach, sat down on the moutain and looked out over the sea while listening to ¨This Pain¨! It felt like i had a revelation : D It was amazing!

I think i do understand this song a lot better now :3

  • how the f*ck is the annoing orange on the sugestions list, I don't have any f*kin' ideea....

  • Kamelot's music is true art!

The best symphonic power metal band ever, without any doubts!

  • @ustasicaNDH Naw man, Kamelot Is amazing BUT, Rhapsody Of Fire is the best Symphonic Power Metal band ever, THEN Kamelot.

Don't believe me? Check out Emerald Sword and Dargor, Shadowlord of the Black Mountain both are spelled correctly and I believe, this is just my opinion, that they are better then this song

  • @Sprikers Rhapsody of Fire is okay, but I much prefer Khan's voice to their singer's and Kamelot is WAY more lyrically complex and intelligent. I have deep appreciation for a band that would make two whole albums based on Faust.

  • Isnt it funny how Annoying Orange is the "Featured Video"? BTW, I just love Khan's voice. (No homo)

  • I listen to very heavy death metal and black metal and i fucking love Kamelot

  • who can replace khan, he is a great singer

  • Kamelot is so fucking awesome but what's gonna happen without Khan singing?

  • @AnoMundi a new bad album unless they find someone who can sing on the same level as khan good luck with that.

  • pretty awful

  • im gonna miss roy :S

  • i only just heard this band last night and i fell in love with the music straight away

  • @LordTonychicken well... be disappointed cuz no more khan aka lead singer

  • @LordTonychicken wow man. bad timing to start.

  • I <3 Kamelot(:

  • I want to know why the fuck does the annoying orange show up in suggestions....

  • I am disappointed that the Annoying Orange shows up in the suggestions.

  • @ATM9318 Ditto :/

  • Why so not popular? This song is very unique and you can really "imagine" the pain if you know what I mean.

  • tibor alma mons khan it,is amazing sky voice

  • To me, Kamelot is separate from any genre. I usually listen to far more heavy music, mostly metalcore and melodic death metal, but Kamelot will always be my favorite band. There is something so...different about them. They play music that truly satisfies my soul, to sound somewhat cliche.

  • @RaneInfernum Sadly, this generation is incredibly fixated on genres and naming. As they unable to express themselves, they cleave to grouping, and everything has to be very visual or labeled thusly. They cannot understand, perceive nor appreciate anything on it's own merit. Many real artists suffer as a consequence to this. Kamelot is Kamelot, they do not need to clumped into a grouping to be understood.

  • @Blitzbok I understand exactly what you mean. Somebody who listens to say, death metal, might hear about a hard rock band or something, and just dismiss it as terrible without giving it a listen. And it's sad, because there are so many great bands that remain unlistened to as a result of this.

  • @RaneInfernum I know what you mean. Normally I would be listening to something like Alesana, but these guys just caught my attention so well.

  • i am agree with CleoBlue13 when i listen to kamelot's song i am starting to think about my soul

  • i m so glad, that there is still music, where the singer sings because he likes to sing, and not because he would like to be rich and famous!

  • @black1994Butterfly1 *cough Tarja cough*

  • @black1994Butterfly1 Agreed, you can tell in how a.He can actually sing and maintains his vocals and b.The content of his lyrics. These are tell tail signs of a real artist.

  • In the beginning this reminds me of, "Sasuke's Retribution."'

  • @burnrose69 You are such a faggot.

  • I love this song <3

  • dobře se to poslouchá, věru;)

  • Wolf howl at the end scared the shit out of me. Awesome.

  • It's strange... some of Kamelots songs are what you could call depressive, yet their songs are the only ones that really make me relax...

  • the music up to 0:32 sounds like a Naruto Shippuden soundtrack

  • This, Nothing Ever Dies, and Momento Mori are all good listens off of this great album... For the Halo!

  • It's amazing - all the music up to 0:32 really captures the title.

  • Still one of my favorites

  • @damaged776 get the whole discography

  • >-> im guessing 444 people are awesome and 3 people are dumb :D YAY dumb people are so silly xD you silly dumb people. :D I love this freaking band! They are the best band EVER PERIOD! <------ xD Quoted from Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny.

  • @xXxFallenReaverxXx Stop talking like that. And please, stop trying to put xxx's in your name to sound cool. Not trying to start a fight; just saying that it makes you sound like a 12 year old on youtube for the first time.

  • *ROAR* Kamelot is nothing but W I N! Much love and respect!

  • this is art,nuff said

  • Severa Banda !

    Excelente Metal melodico :)

  • Kamelot is the shit. They destroy any band thats comes their way these days. Hail kamelot.

  • gotta say i'm loving this band so far as I've heard i accidentally stumbled across them whilst listening to blind guardian here on youtube i went to click on another BG vid and accidentally hit march of mephisto and like what i heard.

  • i think, to those who dont at least love this album, they can go fuck themselves <3

  • @Transmissional Nice dude xD I agree 100%

  • @Transmissional That's actually a rather immature and flawed response to negativity. People who dislike Kamelot are well within their right to do so, just as much as you are permitted to dislike what they listen to. This stoic egoism has got to stop, there is actually a big wide world outside of yourselves with valid opinions too!

  • @Blitzbok I think that it was a mere statement 8 months ago in my life. As to this problem. I do agree with you.

  • @Blitzbok yeahhh man i know i know, but when i put that heart afterwards I am just kiddingggggg, but srsly this is pro album :D

  • @Transmissional

I wouldn't just leave it at love, I would go as far to say, that if they don't love the concept of Epica/The Black Halo and Goethe's Faust, they can go fuck themselves <3

    lol

  • @alexinnitro2 Epica is pretty good, though never heard of Goethes Faust.

  • Such a solid song. I wish they would do it live. Have they ever done it live?

I know their set list is different from place to place. Like when they are in the states and come over to New York city, they don't play or rather I never heard them play songs like Elizabeth or Anthem...

I'd love to see this song played live.

  • @0Artist0 I am going to kill myself if they don't play Elizabeth in Orlando on Sep 8th,.

  • @RedLion502 I love that song, as all of their others, I just love the anthems and I hope they play at least one.

  • @CodyAllenmusic RIP lol

  • @filowfulwaffle LMFAO I cant believe it............. you know anything about khan?

  • I came across Kamelot looking for Epica videos. What the hell Have I been missing?! In 2 months time I'll be seeing Kamelot and Leaves Eyes in Orlando...fking awesome!

  • God, thank you for giving this band so much talent... I fucking love this band and always will

  • kamelot too heavy? haha that tis funny. I bet they would cry if they heard deicide or necrophagist haha. Not saying kamelot re bad tho. they are indeed sexy :)

  • I agree with everyone. Kamelot is uniqe, their songs have hidden meanings and are really beautiful. People should listen to music were the band have put their hearts and souls into writting them. Unlike all this pop shit where they get payed to sing and act like sluts or slutfu*kers. But we should just accept it. Many people love that kind of music. What we should think of is that WE love Kamelot and that their songs touch our souls.

  • @CleoBlue13 couldn't agree with you more!! I say the same thing ..I hate pop music .. I love this type of music because there is so much feeling.. glad there are others that feel the same..

  • @Chrissym80 I belive that everyone that LOVES! Kamelot feel the same Chrissym. But since the pop world dominates the metal world, people are afraid so say what they like and just goes with the flood. I get bullied cause I love Kamelot.

And to everyone. Roy Khan isn't form some where in Europe! He is from Norway! and he lives in Elverum! >:D

  • @CleoBlue13 I am open minded about music. I'll listen to anything as long as it ha a catchy beat and a good meaning. I have yet to find I bad song by Kamelot. Anyone who DOESN'T think they're insane, in a good way, kinda like amazing, is messed up in the head.

  • @CleoBlue13 OMG you're amazing! XDDD So true

  • :C

I wish there was a performance of this live

I would love to hear it

  • Accordning to one of my friends, itäs impossible for a guty to hade an angelic voice without sounding like a gay. Roy Khan is the proof he's wrong.

  • kamelot is juest right when your trying to come down at lest that what i think

  • Never got into them at first since the songs i listened to weren't all that drum intensive but after listening to some of their heavy/fast stuff they are pretty good.

  • Kamelot is probably one of the best bands ever made. Probably THE best and most unique.

  • I LOVE KAMELOT IF THEY COME TO NZ IMMA GO!! WHOO

  • people say this is heavy

then turn on some 5 finger death punch

    I'm sure they'll love it.

  • @MrSantosPT Power Metal! Some say it's Symphonic Power Metal, but arguing about a fucking prefix for a genre is about as retarded as Christian Weston Chandler.

  • @Veruon96

nothing is as retarded as CWC... except the Jonas Brothers maybe

  • I heard this song today and I have to said I've never heard something like it, i just knew about them because of Epica (the band, not the album), but, this really sounds great. Thank god they exist.

  • listening to bands such as this.. make me glad i have ears to hear these amazing Melody's, Harmony's and every thing about it. hail music

  • they're really nice.

  • Really wonderful Band!

    See you in WACKEN!

    Rain or shine!

  • Is kamelot anti-christian?

  • @EradicationStation LOL, I doubt it. but what does it matter anyway?

  • @EradicationStation No...I don't believe any of the members are christian, but they don't really push any anti-christian themes in their songs...

Some would argue the black halo album is anti-christian, but it's just the telling of a story, one that goes both way (Soul society vs abandoned)...one is saying there is no heaven, another is asking why he feels God has turned his back on him. Doesn't matter as far as the music is concerned, really cool story anyway...

  • I don't believe they're anti or pro religion in their lyrics, but they're definitely thematic in mentioning 'lore' stuff about Gods, Entities, demons, heaven, hell. They're definitely Soul Searchers that's for sure. I mean if you listen to the Lyrics of "up through the ashes" on Ghost Opera, it is the story of the Crucifixion straight from the New Testament. But it's not glorifying or defaming it at all, just relating the story and letting the listener come to their own conclusion.

  • @ickywacka They do a great job of being spiritual without being religious.

  • @tgarci2 in Soul Society he's not saying there is no heaven, he's questioning how people can believe in it. This because he doesn't understand why only pain came on his path while he had good intentions. Later on the album (This Pain) he realizes that he actually is the blame, for leaving Helena (and later Marguerite).

  • @Freekietime True...I didn't spell it out as well as I should've I guess. I appreciate you clarifying my misinformation ;)

  • @EradicationStation The story is amazing, I am christian myself and their lyrics do not offend me in anyway. In the story Ariel (Roy) is christian himself, but is incontent and figures there must be some ''Universal Thruth'' for which he sets off to find it. Alot of shit happens but in the end he gets to heaven anyway. I do not totally agree with their vision of God but it's not offending and in the story Ariel gets to be with God and his beloved Helena, where everything is good.

  • well.. as you discussed down there about scandinavian. its not so strange since its roy that writes the music xD

  • ... Roy co-writes the lyrics. Thom composes it and mainly wirtes the lyrics.

  • fantastic but understimated song :(

  • "Cause the human nature has its ways with lust."

  • Indeed andre. Im glad to see american metal bands draw inspiration from us in scandinavia :D

  • even though it's an american band ... roy khan made their music have that scandinavian feel :)

  • I love this band...

  • Gonna see them march 26 *-*

  • Cool story, bro.

  • for the last two weeks, i been listening to this band only, just brilliant the music is kind of unique, new fan right here, remember a few years ago did not pay attention to their music because am sort of traditional metal old school, so kind of the right time for me cause i was getting bored of playing the same bands that of course with respect to them, these guys really kick ass...

  • welcome to the covenant..hah. :)

  • In 2006 I couldn't even stand to think of this band anymore because I listened them so much. xD

  • @edwinrivera1972 I love the old school stuff too.. a lot of the symphonic/progressive metal bands take some influence from the old stuff of course. Kamelot is one of my favs, my other is Avantasia

  • I really like the intro..it blow me away! it makes this song..thunder lightnings! fantastic! 5 stars! enough said.

  • Intro is indeed epic, but the winner for me on this song is the guitar solo....EPIC WIN!

  • love it

  • pretty song :)

  • love them 4 eva man :)

  • beatiful song

  • i love them 2 bits man they rock

  • LOVIN THIZ BAND

  • awsome

  • and when it reaches 777,777 I'm gonna jump out of your computer! XD

  • thats when satan comes and takes over your computer=D

  • 103,666 views In no way is this edited. When I viewed this i was the 103,666th viewer O.o. I wonder who will be 666,666 ? =)

  • LMAO 1:49 - 2:21 AWESOME!

  • Hmm... I think I rather like this song. To be honest, there are too few Kamelot songs that I really like =/. They always sound good rhythmically, but the tone material is seldom anything I really like.

Gogo Kamelot! A strong and professional band with talented musicians!

    --

The Rev is dead!!! ó.ò... This is indeed a sad time.

  • Comment removed

  • I am the opposite, there are too few Kamelot songs i dont like (if any),at least from the time, when Khan joined them :-D

  • I thought Khan always had been in the band.

  • @BrokenBjartur Nope,kamelot exists since 1991,Khan joined them in 1998 :-)

  • @jeanninka01 well you have to admit that each song is a diferent perspective and has a diferent sentiment soo i preferd this kamelot since 1998 than the other one for the expressions of the songs

  • @tifa2030 yeah,I agree,and,since 1998,they changed from a normal band to something special.They are like diamonds,just perfect :-)

  • All for one and one for ALL!!!

  • Even deaf people love Kamelot. Amazing song

  • @OrodrethAmandil92

    That's racist

  • Kamelot are fantastic!!

  • i <3 kamelot!

  • I'm liking this, but which album should I get first? I'm thinking I'll check out this, Ghost Opera, or Epica first.

  • The Black Halo

  • i think Karma,then The Black Halo,then Epica

  • @nivramrelyt: Get Epica. It's the beginning of this story, the beginning of Ariel's quest.

  • black halo <3

  • good song !!!!

  • Nobody I know likes Kamelot :( They all think it's too heavy...I think its brilliant. Wish I could get people to turn their ears off from the crap pop stuff...This music has so much body, feeling, so much intensity. God I love it!

  • Too heavy? No offense but the people who say that are full of shit and couldn't handle stuff like Black or Death metal if they think KAMELOT is too heavy.

  • I was listening to March of Mephisto in spanish class the other day. And I guess it was too loud, Because some bitch on the other side of the room said "Turn that rock crap off" And I replied, "Oh, I'm sorry would you rather I played Lil Wayne or some other tasteless piece of filth?"

  • I've had a couple of situations like that before. I like all forms of rock and metal but when it comes to metal bands like Kamelot hold a special place in my heart. I remember once at my blind school we were doing solo proformances and a lot of people freaked out because I did Moonlight....The other students didn't know what it was but after they found out they started listening to it. Not because they liked it but because they thought I did they would be cool if they did.

  • Nice Going, MyNameIsEarl6394. Today's Popular Music Disgusts me... Its always about the same things, and without emotion at all... With Rock And Metal, Its got Emotion to it!

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394

Thanks for the Facebook update, Ronaldo.

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Amen man.. best answer you could give :)

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 awesome

  • did you know that Lil Wayne is a nigger?

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 That's the best comment I've ever read! I've been on youtube for about 3 years, and that one comment says sooooo much!!!

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 That sounds exactly like the queers in my school: "Turn that rock and roll s--- off! Nobody wants to hear it!"

Yeah. Well. At least Kamelot knows how to sing, and at least Kamelot has talent.

(Looks like your comment is pretty popular.)

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Comments like that make my life worth living...

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Comments like that make my life worth living...

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Dont worry, regular people will never comprehend this music. They listen to Lil Wayne now, but when that soulless music gets off the air, its over, they'll move onto newer things, and soe goes on forever. Only listening to music for the sake of being cool and hype. i sometimes feel Im the only living being in the planet whenever I walk around the city, or go to my job, or wherever I go. Then I come here and I realize there is still people that has soul

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 dude u sayed the right words

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Oh my God, your story is so interesting! Tool by the definition.

  • @joanim was there a reason for that? were you really that pissed of and offended by my comment that you had to say that? I said what i said because I was sick of hearing things like that from people at my school. I would really like to know why you had to be a dick about it.

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 Because that is what every tool counter culture person says.

  • @joanim Well considering it has nothing to do with counter culture it has to do with the fact that I was tired of people saying things like that.

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 That is mainstream culture, you are trying to counter that. Therefor you are trying to be counterculture.

  • @MyNameIsEarl6394 lol nice. Today, my sister imitated how my interest in songs (mostly Kamelot) sounded like. she was like "'Life is bad! i am emo'".......etc.....

I replied "the songs i like are better than your crap. They are like 'lets go to a fag party! and then we drink! later, we can sing a song that promotes underage pregnancy and drugs! after that, we can write a rap love song that actually has no deep meaning! =D'"

  • @zayn7 aaaa...... I am not a fan of emo at all but to lump all one type of music as crap is not right. I personally like kamelot a lot but Sonata Arctica would be my # 1 band and epica is up there too. I personally think the music i like is the best but i also have the presences of mind to know im bias to what i like. Every person has different taste and every category of music has talented people in it and some not talented people. I cant believe im defending emo but having a open mind is good.

  • @riamri2 you just named three bands that are in the same genre

  • @riamri2 Ugh. It's not emo.
