Ironic Bond is stronger? Covalent Bond is stronger? Both are wrong, my teacher said that bonds cannot be determined to be weaker or stronger, they cannot be compared.
ionic bonds are stronger than covalent bonds, ionic bonds because ionic bonds require 4000 – 400 kj/mol to make and break bonds vs. covalent bonds require 1100 – 150 kj/mol to make and break bonds...
The video is actually wrong u said that the strongest type of intramolecular bond is covalent. That is a big mistake. Ionic Bond is stronger than a covalent bond
@PreciousAngelSmile Explain to me how a covalent bond is stronger than a ionic bond. Which has a higher melting point salt or sugar? The energy required to break the bonds between the particles is greater when its ionic. This is the general case. So ACTUALLY you are wrong again at least
Very good video, but two problems: #1the covalent bond mentions the octet but 1 hydrogen doesn't give oxygen an octet. Is it possible to change oxygen to fluorine and add one electron? #2 Dipole -dipole force should be between two covalently bonded atoms( a nonmetal and a nonmetal) and not an ionic compound. Is it possible to change sodium to bromine?
what music did you use? :)

@eddyGh1 diamond is a covalent bond and is the hardest substance known. but ur right ionic is generally stronger.

@eddyGh1 always read the question to see what it is asking. Like if they ask in general terms what is stronger say ionic.

@Ganto911 london dispersion forces are another name for them.
the official name is now "instantaneous dipole - induced dipole attraction" (IDIDA).
