  • stop making crappy star wars and make good star wars again rant over

  • Thumbs up if you came from Harry Plinkett

  • What is the music at the very end at just after?

  • @realmsceo no they both had their memories wiped at the end of ep 3 remember

  • Anybody wanna pizza roll? E-mail me if you wanna pizza roll, then I'm gonna shove it up your ass.

  • It just doesnt fit in there.

  • you might do it if your a virgin

  • Luke: Ben, why do you have a shadow if you are a spirit?

Obi-Wan: Oh, is just something that Lucas forgot to remove in the special editons like the lightsabers with shadows.

  • "DUDE I MACKED HER IN HOTH!!!!!"

  • Wow! That was awesome! Great job!

  • Killer job! Love the edits!

  • the original trilogy had loads of plot twists like vader being luke's father, leia being luke's sister, that short weak weird creature turns out to be the legendary jedi master Yoda, and Vader actually turning on his master the Emperor to save his son.

With the prequels there isn't much, some parts of them are alright, but they dont have any twists, they just seem to be made just to complete the saga rather than add any any drama

  • @arsenalrulez1000 But they tell the story of anakin and his downfall

  • @Digitaldiscdrive yeah but that was only in episode 3. The other two were just fillers and were kinda dry.

  • @arsenalrulez1000 I thought they were pretty good, Attack of the clones is proberly the worst though :|

  • sometimes i feel like im luke skywalker u know?Forced to work on uncle owen's water farm all day.Not even allowed to go to the toshi station to pik up some power converters.BORING

  • did you know that lucas was tempted to get ewan do Alec Guinness scene in the ROTJ revamp

  • Great Work! That is how the 3-D Version should be if there is to be any difference at all in them when they are released. This video really gives you the true definition of Anakin and makes you feel the sarrow for him that the prequels did. cuz in the original version of ROTJ, you just listen to it and say umm yeah ok until the prequels came out of course but with this video you really get the in depth true meaning of Anakin/Darth Vader. Nicely Done Sir!

  • Aweseome work. Very nicely done.

  • When Obi-wan first appears - what was he doing over behind that tree? Taking a leak? He should had just faded in.

  • No flashback of Luke making out with his own sister?

  • @realmsceo Yeah but who the hell understands R2-D2..lol

  • wow good editing, the flashbacks of the prequel trilogy fit very well into obi-wan's story!

  • Is it true that alec guiness hated starwars and that he once said i didnt want to say those stupid lines over again and be remered for just playing obi wan he was a great actor but i think its shame how he didnt like starwars he prob thought it was more of a kids film at the time and prob thought it was stupid but he was wrong of cource but i still think hes a great acting legend.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Alec Guinness loved the idea of being a wizard/mentor and was the most collected and calm actor on the set of the movies. When people where complaining Guinness was cheerful and optimistic, he loved Star Wars.

  • You dont know that for a fact your simply repeating what Mark hamill said on the special edition DVD interview he could have made that all up ive heard stories that he use too threw away Starwars fan mail coz he was annoyed that he was somewhat typecast as Obi wan when he had done so many other great films in the past and of cource he would be very respectful and professional on the set coz he was a gentleman like that. and a well respected actor of his time.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Then believe what you want to believe. I don't think Alec Guinness would hate millions of admiring fans of one of his most famous roles.

  • No its a fact he didnt Love starwars and i never said he hated millions of fans alot of people including him thought starwars was abit of a joke and that it was going to be a major flop plus he was a proper actor and a jedi master isnt the type of role he would like to be remembered as but i loved him as Obi wan and grew up enjoying the films etc but lets just clear one thing up he didnt like starwars nor really hated it they couldnt exactly say he disliked it in an interview.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Whatever guy, just answering your question that was posted here a month ago.

  • Good job.

  • Obi-wan, ya lyin' sacka shit!!

  • So how could Leia remembered her real mother if she was a newborn when Padme died? Leia said that she remembered her a little, that she was kind but sad.

  • Well Done! It's like quickly going back and forth between the two DVDs of III and VI, except, this is better!

  • I'm beginning to think that Obi Wan and Yoda both knew that Luke wasn't strong enough to defeat Palpatine/Sidious, but that the only hope was to turn Anakin back and let him fulfill the prophecy as the "chosen one"

When he says "You must face Vader again" [or else] "the emperor has already won". They never mention defeating the emperor. It's almost as if they know that's up to Anakin.

  • I find it weird that Obi Wan doesn't seem to remember R2 D2.

I mean, he kinda does when he says "Oh, I haven't heard that name in a long time" in episode IV but I dunno.

  • @TXF1990: When Obi-Wan said "I haven't heard that name in a long time," he was referring to himself as Obi-Wan. (He had gone by Ben to Luke before Episode IV). R2 was actually owned by Anakin, not Obi-Wan. However, Obi-Wan had owned R4-P17, but it got destroyed in the battle of Coruscant.

  • @TXF1990 He said that referring to the name of Obi-wan, not R2-D2

  • He's more machine now than man. It's because I cut off his legs and non-mechanical arm

  • Great mashup,looked very accurate.

  • OMG this video is amazzing thank you for making it:)

  • obi wan truly is superior to anakin , in an even fight he ripped his legs off lol.

  • This so STUPID! I really hated this "certain point of view" line when I 1st heard it. It has only gotten more obnoxious w/ time. I literally cringed when I 1st heard it. Was Lucas just too rich & powerful @ this point so no one asked for rewrite? Why not just have him say, "I explained it as best I could @ the time. Look how painful this was for you. I was waiting to tell you when you could handle the fool truth." Would have made perfect sense.

  • Quigon shouldn't have existed. Yoda was Obi-wan's teacher as said in Episode 5 and Obi-wan was the one who found Anakin, not the one who reluctantly taught him after Quig on's death.

  • @ppshchik Yoda teaches everyone the basics before they are a jedi, and Qui-Gon told Obi to train Anakin.

  • @sarg8 That's a fucking stupid excuse. Obi-Wan's force ghost even said "Was I any different when you taught me?" to Yoda....also in the prequels Yoda's apprentice was Count Dooku and Yoda wouldn't have had time to train other little kids.

  • @ppshchik I think they tried to explain it in Episode II when they showed Yoda training the Younglings.

  • @ppshchik in episode 3 yoda said he would train obi-wan how to talk to qui-gonn so yoda did train obi-wan, from a point of view

  • @ppshchik If you knew your shit, you wouldn't be saying that. Yoda teaches all young lings before they are assigned a Jedi Master to learn everything else. Look it up on wookieepedia. And also, look at Episode 2, he was training a whole room for god sakes. Learn your shit before you trash talk.

  • @ppshchik From a certain point of view. ;)

  • @ppshchik yoda trained all padawans before hey were assigned to their masters. that was the logic behind him saying yoda training obi wan

  • I prefer to pretend that the new trilogy just never happened.

  • @CommentaryX i think the machine reference is as much metaphorical as literal. and technically in ROTS it is stated Luke and Leia should be hidden from "The Sith", which, as Obi-Wan later learns, still includes Anakin/Vader. And they're not hidden specifically as Vader's offspring. They're hidden because of their force-sensitivity. We know Palpatine will soon be looking for a new apprentice. To toss these powerful kids to the wind risks their discovery, no matter their name or parents identity

  • I actually heard that George is going to re do alot of the scene's like these when he does the 3D specials, i cant wait lol

  • And suddenly the prequels become likeable to you folks after seeing it spliced together.

  • The flashbacks were nice but played out like a TV show or something.

  • George let a lot of continuity errors slip past him when he made the prequels. I always felt that Anakin should have been at least 15 or 16 when he and Obi-Wan met and Kenobi been a bit older, but still have Liam Neeson : ) Also, when Obi-Wan says, "That boy was our last hope," in Ep. 5 I assumed then that he did not know about Leia, but then Ep. 3 comes out and he's IN THE ROOM when she's born. I guess getting beheaded affects your memory.

  • wheres the part arround 2:40 where obi wan tells luke about his sister?

  • Nice work......

  • best movie trilogy of all time nothing will beat it

  • it would be funny if a jedi ghost would come up to vader n the emporer n just anoy the shit out of them n when they attack them they'd say nice try but im already dead guess it kinda backfired on ya hu like jarjar in robot chicken

  • I always thought from this Anakin and Obi Wan would be closer friends in I to III than they were. Also, Leia claimed she remembered her mother, but she died when she was a baby.

  • @kkwillsaveus Leia was presumably talking about Bale Organa's wife - her step-mother - not her actual mother.

  • great job, man!

  • This is VERY good!!!! 5 of 5 stars!!!

  • Awesome job! Great editing and cutting in skills. Used appropriate scenes from the prequels too!

  • this is great

  • Lucas really had no clue what the hell was going to happen after 'Star Wars' became a success. The original was primarily based on archetypal myths and Kurusawa's Hidden Fortress, not some grand scheme. Any talk about having already planned the rest of the saga is false. The reason I love all 6 movies is because it is a wonderful example of how a simple idea could evolve into something so much more; I prefer looking at the movies as something very organic and neat, instead of planned...

  • Prequels still suck.

  • @Blueraptor3030 You suck faggot

  • very well done!

  • It's very well done... doesn't make the greatest case for the prequels. I still think what Obi Wan talked about sounded cooler than what they ultimately came up with.

  • That the best I've seen!!!

  • great edit, 5 stars

  • Very well done!

  • This was a cool edit, although I don't think it should be in the movie since flashbacks were never a storytelling technique used in the Star Wars saga.

  • This is what they should have done instead of replacing Sebastian Shaw with Hayden.

  • @MaxRebo120 I totally agree, replacing Sebastian Shaw with Anakin played by Hayden Christiensen, in my opinion, really took away from how I thought Anakin would've looked 30 years later after his duel with Obi-Wan at Mustafar

  • @Gecko7291971 look brah, anakin died when he became darth vader, so the lasting image of anakin skywalker has to be hayden christiensen. wake up fool.

  • @Gecko7291971 This is 23 years after the duel on Mustafar.

  • @AsiaPhoenix2008 Okay, But Still, It kinda took away from How Anakin looked after the duel he had with Obi-Wan at Mustafar

  • Nice work bringing the two trilogies together. This is why Star Wars is the best of the "saga" films.

  • this one should be in the movie as well

  • ''glassoul'' the basic story was written first but lucus chose ep 4 to film first felt it was the most exciting one (think cause of the death star) yes anikin did kill children before turning to the dark side. It was part of what transformed him to the dark side..pay attention to his eyes..normal eyes jedi. Lizard eyes sith lol noobs

  • When Lucas was writing Star Wars Vader wasn't going to be Luke's father so it was just one film with Vader being the killer of Luke's father so all this nonsense about Lucas having a grand scheme and deliberately start with episode 4 is a load of toshi station.

  • @Concreteowl actually pal he had that in mind the entire time, but he rewrote episode 4 because they thought only one movie would be made, but they made so much money off episode 4, others were made. they decided on episode 4 originally because producers felt it had the most juicy material. bitch.

  • @dawg55c Nope that's just a load of nonsense he put out after Empire. Originally Vader did kill Luke's dad but he came up with one of the coolest plot twists in cinema history and then spent the next thirty years lying about it.

  • @Concreteowl u may be right about that, but he had tons and tons of material written and all of what i said is true. bitch

  • @Concreteowl Yeah that makes sense, cause If he intended Vader to be Lukes Dad in episode 4, then Obi-wan would have said a young SITH LORD named Darth Vader hunted down and destroyed the jedi knights, not a young JEDI.

  • @folsum53 Even then, He could've done it that way deliberately to have Vader having been trained as a Jedi that later turned to the dark side

  • @Concreteowl Lucas actually did plan it out he just kept big parts a secret, and slso sometimnes temporarly rewrote or changed his ideas and hr just threw some altternate ideas around but in the end always wenr with his larger lines!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 That's what Lucas wants you to believe. He was making everything up one film at a time.

Ben died in Star Wars because Lucas couldn't think of anything for Sir Alec to do and Marcia suggested killing him off for dramatic impact. When the film was a huge success he needed a new Jedi to train Luke so Yoda was born, Vader being Luke's father came in there. When Lucas fell out of love with Star Wars and decided not to make any after Jedi the 'other' became Leia. No plan.

  • @Concreteowl How do you know?

  • 5 STAR Cut and Paste!!!!

  • I liked this. Never seen this kind of video before. It was nice to really see the links.

  • awesome job!!!!

  • I wish this would happen.)

  • good vid

  • actually pretty awesum!!!

  • this is very impressive great work!! it ties in very well with all of the star wars movies

  • Technically, He never told him because Qui-Gon didn't exist yet. No one had any knowledge of him as Lucas hadn't invented him at the time.

Story-wise, it would be pointless as Luke didn't even know him.

  • Wouldn't it of been a little bit wiser for Mr. Lucas to have the whole 6 movies planned out ahead of time?

  • Lucas wrote Episode IV first, not knowing if he would be able make a sequel (that depended upon the success of the first). But he struggling to write the script, and so he created a basic framework & back story for some of the events and characters in the film in order to aid him. These background elements later formed the basis for Ep 1-3.

  • Hey, shit happens...

  • does anyone know how to get movie clips off of a dvd?

  • dvd fab platinum

  • whats that and where can i get it?

  • i used google

  • It's great...

    Best regards:

The Grand Master of the Jedi

  • no he says he founded him into training - not literally finding him

  • He still never told Luke anything about Qui-Gonn which I find odd.

  • well firstly luke does not know who qui gon is - and secondly - adding qui gon into the story he is saying is not that neccesary - he is talking about vader only - qui gon was not involved with his turning to the dark side

  • in fact anakin/vader wasnt a bad guy, he was manipulated by sidious, he just only wanted to learn how to avoid the death, he lost the two mos importat persons in his life; shmi and padme. sidious like obi wan said, transform anakin in a machine, even in his ways of thinking, just compare the change (not physical) between ep.3,4 and 5 and finally 6...

  • Anakin/Vader is still a douche. He was dumb enough to believe Palpatine, unlike Luke. He killed all those children and Jedi. Luke is the true hero in Star Wars, Luke was different he never gave into hate and was never arrogant like Anakin was.

  • Yeah but i like Anakin more, i've always liked stories where the hero turns evil and then finds redemption, i think it makes you care about him.

  • All Anakin does is disobey his superiors, whine about his friend and mentor, say things angrily without having thought about them, have a problematic love affair, and kill children - and that's BEFORE he turns to the dark side!

Of all the problems in the prequels, Anakin Skywalker's character is the one that stands out the most for me.

  • He kills children after turning to the dark side.

  • No, he kills Sand People Children in episode II. He even admits it to Padame.

  • great video, amazing combination... obi wan and yoda rules...

  • Very cool. I love how you put it all together.

  • at 1:05 anakins head was shiny!

  • Disgusting, very disgusting

  • Hey! Good job on the edit. It definitely gives a more interesting spin on ROTJ.

  • @kodosIV Not just ROTJ, But the Saga as a Whole

  • How does luke automatically guess leia is his sister?

    -.-

  • thrugh the force

  • You did not mention why he became a machine did you obiwan?

  • Yea, Obi - Wan ... D:<

  • obi wan to luke. He became a machine because i left him to burn in flames on mustafar system :D

  • Yeah, Obi-Wan si not a nice man to me since I saw that.

And he wants Luke to kill his own father !!!

  • And he was right!!!LuKE must kill vader.

  • He didn't. He managed to save him, not to kill him.

And that's the turning point of the whole saga

  • to save him from the dark side of the force!

  • That's the point !!!

  • @D4rthV4d3r34 yes and if Obi Wan did save him pergaps that would influence Anakin that the Jedi arent bad and it could of changed the entire Star Wars Galaxy

  • @D4rthV4d3r34 So technically it was indeed Obi-Wan's 'fault' that Anakin became more machine than man.

  • @D4rthV4d3r34 ...and he's REALLY tall now cos I also kinda cut his legs off and the Emperor put massive robot legs on him...so he's a big fella...perhaps that's something you should be careful about.

    :-)

  • @D4rthV4d3r34 well if u remember he had to, i think well first i have to remember lol

  • The Force!

  • Beautifully done! I love it.

  • awsome! the new trilogy gave the story depth and new meaning....very tragic. nice edit!

  • @larfam8 Like the fact that Vader was more of a Victim than a Villain

  • THe part with Padme was AWSOME!

The part where he says "Your father was seduced by the dark side of the force"... just reminds me of how he pretty much "Stumbled into" the dark side like a wuss.

  • Why in the world are these negative comments about Anakin's fall to the dark side given "thumbs up" ratings? Why do people have to criticize these movies all the time, and not take them for what they are in a positive way?

  • MASH UPPPPPPPP! LOL! Nice Edit! Would have been good if Lucas had added these flashbacks as we all knew what had happened when it was re-released! It Was Good though to try and imagine what happened though when you saw it for 1st time! Your Imagination gets the better off you so when you actually see it on screen it's always going to dissapoint!

  • This was great. You fit all the clips perfectly to Obi Wan's story. I kinda wish you added a small music bit of music that could go with the mood. But aw well. It works anyway. Nice work.

  • interesting

  • Nice.

  • Wow, this is really well done... nice edits and Cuts, good Choices. Nice work!

  • well done.

  • That was incredible. I have always visualized that when watching the old movies and now you did it! Cool :)

  • Great video!!! : )

  • great!

  • Damn THAT was pretty cool!

  • Nice!!

  • Beautiful just beautiful..

Only a true Star Wars fan could make this!

So thanks for making it ´:)

  • Wow, talk about good casting!

  • episode 5 & 6 where by far the best

  • EXCELLENT WORK!!!

  • That was really well done - superb effort!

  • awesome

  • Excellent.

  • very good!!!

  • Very thoughtful and nicely done... good job!

  • That's neat

  • you got to make more videos like these

  • In the words of Obi-Wan. . .good job!

  • great job

  • "From a certain point of view."

  • awesome edit, man!

  • nice man that was a great video!

  • very very good video i love it!!!! thx man!!! :)

  • love this scene so much on Ep 6 :)

  • Wow, this is great!
