One thing they never talk about in the forums and sales of this machine. is how much it cost to replace those tracks... its 40K for the replacements and they are only good for about 3000 hrs under finishing conditions ... put this thing in some rock and they last 1000hrs...it is fast but tires are cheaper
I have plowed with all the cat loaders up too a 950 and it would not touch this thing for breakout force, this thing will push much more then a loader of almost double its size
our 524K would eat this thing alive! i dont think it would be practical in an agriculture or earth moving operation but I do think it would be perfect for a small town to have. not sure how much it costs compared to a wheel loader (im sure this is a bit more cause of the tracks). instead of a blade maybe a snow blower would work better?

dude the F-G 950s cant turn at all like a john G-H but like my father tells me all the time he owns 7 loaders now and says if his trucks get stuck i want a cat if im working around a farmer yard i want my 644h just cuz they turn so mutch betetr but a cat out powers them hands down
john deere needs to stay with farm equipment.... this thing has a road grader rear, a loader center pivot, and road grader cab, a tiny straight blade, and worthless rubber tracks like case. what a cobbled up mess....
@cdtank1 i work in the heavy equipment industry, yes the old cat loaders were jerk at pivot, the new models with ride control and steering stabilization make it smooth as glass. nothing against deere, they make great farm equipment, but heavy machinery they are 10 years behind in my opinion... buts it a free market, if they can make a profit, props to them
@784plb also the deere turn alot shorter like there nice big green articulated tractors do and mabey cat should leave the farming world and stick to this
my toolcat has a nine foot blade my fendt 820 has a 12 foot blade my quad stx500 has a sixteen foot bald with silage extentions thats how we move snow in canada , probably move more snow with the blizzard blade on my one ton
Possibly think before you post... The 764 is a purpose-built machine, not some tracks rigged to what was once a wheel loader. There is no way a wheel loader could hold its' own against it.
Nice, but I`m thinking a large wheel loader could hold it`s own against it and would be more versatile. Not trying to be a dink, but it seems like he`s just making a mess with that small blade.
@KHPaint i agree, if you look the machine was a loader and they just put boggy track systems on all 4 axles, and rigged a quick blade on the front. Some college boy design.
It might need a slightly larger blade, for snow at least. But, this machine is about speed and efficiency. Strange concept though probably for all you old school operators, lol
this thing looks like a body builder big body and small head cant do nothing with that blade! use a john deere 744h with a push plow thats what i operate in snow!
Seems to be good in this video, but If Im not mistaken Ive seen this machine stuck just down the road from your shop twice in the past week (no new snow). I wonder if the wheelbase is too narrow.
Attach a 14 or 16 foot protech snow pusher or something like that to the front of the 764 and you would have the best parking lot clearing machine ever!
this thing looks like the biggest pile of shit on the planet.

put a larger blade on it, so you can finish moving all that snow before the end of the century.

Put a blade on the front of a mx270 that would be like cutting butter with a worm knife that's how the 270 would react

thats awesome snow is so hard on the tracks on a regular dozer so this would work good what i do

how much does a 764 cost
XXWRD2BIGBRDXX 1 year ago
thats no faster the a regular dozer maybe need a high speed operator
lloyd23704 1 year ago
@lloyd23704 its benefit is its on rubber, so it can go places a dozer would destroy, and its actually quite fast over ground

I agree needs a bigger blade. I would like to see it on a silage pile. i think this thing would be great on it!!!!
2cylinderfarmer 1 year ago
@2cylinderfarmer
I believe that if it had a bigger blade, with enough weigh and power to use it..the rubber tracks would go to hell, especially on hard soil..
on loose material.. a bigger blade would definitely be a bonus
creborn 1 year ago
needs a bigger blade but it seems to be quite effective.
