@millerinulster The dodge likely ripped the fuel rail off when it ran over. The fuel rail contains plenty of highly flammable gasoline at about 40-60PSI, which then sprays all over the engine. It likely hit the 700-800 degree exhaust manifold, plenty hot enough to ignite gasoline, and bam you get a fire. It has nothing to do with the gas in the engine, as that's safe from ignition, or any sparks from crunching metal. The fuel rail was compromised and fuel hit the hot exhaust.
