@Tigrayo - This is partly due to advertizing bombarding young brains from infancy to adulthood-- trends and fashion are what make up different communities. In richer parts of Britain people get a new car every 2 to 3 years, some want the latest designer shoes, LED vs LCD televisions...BLU-Ray vd HD-DVD, Playstation vs XBOX... Then look at how low wages are in Britain and weep young ones...it's all there to make you go mad for expensive stuff that breaks down or wears out in a couple of years...
China sells goods at rock-bottom prices to U.K shops. Tesco, Argos and catalogue shops jack up prices 3 times and rip us all off. Tesco make many billion pound profit each year. When we bailed out banks, the financial industry (Stock Market,Wall Street banks etc) all made more profit than ever before in history- that is a fact. Politicians gave themselves pay rises & now want to punish a few kids who cannot afford nice things. I bet Cameron has a 50 inch Plasma to go with his castle and moat.
we do not forgive, we do not frorget... expect us!!! on the 5th of november this year we march peacfully on parliment peacefully so as the police will be powerless to stop us!!!
To all the comments that say they steal because they don't have anything. That is total bollox. There is no excuse at all for what they are doing. NO EXCUSE! I want a new guitar. But I'm not gonna go out and fucking steal one!
@effects69 we are talking about nicking a pair of nike trainers vs a corrupt government that steals trillions from us!!! TRILLIONS!!!! why arent the police arresting cameron?????
@MultiFrank777 -- One young man got 6 months for stealing bottles of water... If you type into Google 'U.K M.P jailed for expenses' you'll read about Brit politicians who claimed a Rolex watch, repairs on 2nd homes, luxuries all paid for by taxpayers...most U.K politicians got jailed only up to 18 months, one of the worst cases is £30 000 of expenses nicked from the taxpayer...whole families now being evicted for their kids mistakes on Cameron's 'advice'. Cameron is a putz, a bogey and a prat.
@MultiFrank777 It's still no excuse to loot & riot. That's just ridiculous. It's not the shop owners fault. Nor the people that own the houses that were looted and burned down.
@effects69 ok even if london burnt to the ground... every last building.... it still wouldnt add up to the shier epic amount of cash criminaly stolen by david cameron!!!! my friend you lack perspective!!!!!
@MultiFrank777 I don't think you are really seeing what I am saying. Or at least understanding it. Regular people are being hurt. Not the politicians. Those people are innocent and have nothing to do with what happened. Yes the government can be corrupt. Most of them are. But why use violence against the general public because of this? U will only have to pay more taxes to fix everything you broke in the first place.
@effects69 ofcourse & you are absolutely right!!!! attacking the general public is completely retarded!!! however if i was a judge i would give a sentence of 6 months community service for theft & or property damage with obv stiffer sentences for assault etc... to cameron though for war crimes & massive fraud debilitating the entire nation he would get life without parole!!! no i don't justify this & as anon said real change is bought about by "velvet revolutions".
why is the argument about black and white, its london youth running amok why can't these individuals get past their political situation and say something that might quell the sentiment
@jackvincent90 - It's also down to general low wages and high costs for all people, regardless of the colour. Parents can only just pay the rent or mortgage and bills like electric and gas- then there's food costs and petrol costs rising so much. Govt cutting EMA funding is stupid, parents can't afford to pay for text books and stationery etc...pocket money is non-existant...jobs are being lost and wages are really low in the U.K at £6.00 per hour compared with £10.00 per hour in Australia...
Soaring unemployment, racial segregation, university fees tripling, EMA funding cuts, black people far less accepted for jobs, black people dying in Police custody, stop and search liberalism, low wages, high costs of living, bill costs rising... bad weather and little recreational areas, overpopulation in small communities, community centres closing down, politicians and authorities corrupt, huge bailouts given to the big financial companies...I wonder what the cause is of youth violence???
police where told to hold back, so the youths can cause more damage, put more fear in the public's mind, implementation of martial law, start V for vendetta in real life!!!!
Cameron is the cause of the problem as well as a war criminal. Give the rioters his head on a poll that would appease the masses. Viva the masses & burn out corruption reverse the smoking ban make us happy.
Bunch of idiots burning and looting in their own neighborhoods ...
