  • 7:43 EAT EAT EAT !!

  • The sound the mat makes when Steve King falls down on it and when The Animal is stomping on King's arms is awesome. It sounds like a big bass drum. That sound makes it seem like the jobber is really getting destroyed. They knew what they were doing back then. lol.

  • George The Animal Steeles has the green tongue.

  • Now we know where LeBron James gets his inspiration for throwing talcum powder ;)

  • wazz this is connecticut?

  • @mrach198 Good One. I like that. Man, if these jobbers was wrestling today, they will be champions.

  • You only have one fucking Subscription? What the art of being a piece of shit wrestling promoter? Fuck you Don Tony and all of your lies. I know why you hate ROH and everyone who works there because they aren't like you where they steal money from the wrestlers and merchandise you FAT FUCK!

  • 3:04 head didnt even touch the corner so fake but so classic George the animal Steele forever

  • Not only do you exist on lies but you steel Copyrighted material way to fucking go. You fat bastard.

  • gay

  • To each their own, i guess. I would much rather watch this than the crap that they put out today. Even Vince was so much better back then.

You can keep all of the high flying garbage. I'll take the flying turn buckle stuffing and the green tongue any day. I'm with steve0040. Great work. Keep them coming.

  • Whats that song from 4:22 to 4:40?

  • ahh the old flying hammerlock! Easily one of the best finishers ever. That thing was just too painful to watch.

  • Look at 3:04 he didn't even hit the metal part of turnbuckle

  • Really? Do you think anyone from Panama City is named Steve King?

  • The reason for the green tongue is Steele had a few beers before a card and didn't want the promoter to smell the booze on his breath so he took a few breath mints that turned his tongue green

  • Still waiting for the Billy Berger video, sir. He was before my time as a fan, so I´m dying to see what you´re talking about :)

  • Thanks a million for posting this . This was taped at the Hamburg Field House in Hamburg, Pa. I am sitting rindside behind the far left turnpost . In the light blue shirt. I used to work a few hours for this guy that owned properties in the neighborhood. My pay would be a wrestling trip to Hamburg and a few bucks spending money. He had 3 seats and he always took his son, so I lucked in on the 3rd seat. Now if he was taking a visiting family member I'd be happy to sit in the bleachers. Thanks..

  • @maddogwrestlingfan I was at the match in Hamburg when he wrestled Bob Backlund for the belt. That was an awesome night/event. That match was one of wrestling legend/folklore as it went on for some time and Backlund defeated Steele Everyone rushed the ring and it colapsed. They used to use that highlight at the end of the weekly wrestling shows for some time.

  • George was never much for displaying much ring skill but he was still the most fun superstar to watch in the ring with his crazy antics!

  • I always wondered what it would be like if early 80's style wrestling used "Raw" style vignettes. Would we have bits with George Steele trying to check into a hotel, or get on an airplane in his "Animal" character?

  • keep them coming Dontony,, Great work!!!! love the memories....

I grew up with the WWF late 70's early 80's

  • Steve King had no offense. Makes you wonder if he even knew how to work in the ring. Also makes me wonder about the economics of being a jobber in those days...how much per match? no insurance or safety net at all

  • @hedlundk

I actually saw two live matches where Steve showed some pretty capable wrestling skills. One was against Pete Mitchell, where he won(!), and the other was against Johnny Rodz, that was actually pretty competitive.

  • You cant beat 'the saliva dripping out of his green tongue"

  • Agreed Sterling. Thats why these videos are tributes to the 'Forgotten Jobbers' and not the best of former WWF stars. So many websites bring up the Frankie Williams, the Mac Riveras, etc. Im trying to put up others that people may never have heard of. Some matches are funny. Some are so piss poor, theyre even funnier to watch now.

  • 4:10 in & so far the match has been terrible. he started by throwing king out of the ring & king ran with him. & the turnbuckle headshot was ridiculous

  • Cool. Steele was a high school teacher/football coach who wrestled mostly during the summer. When his kids found out who he was, they showed up to football practice with green tongues.
