I think a much better verison of this would be cooking the eggs and meat FIRST, then take them out about half done, then fry the cauliflower and put back the egg&meat at the end and stir for a little more while
That should prevent the caulitflower from getting "mushy" with all the water from ther egg and meat!
uhh...darlin..you have yourself a GREAT recipe! Lmfao! My girlfriend is like CARB crazy, which hence drives ME CRAZY! lol- I Just look for alternative ways to exit some carbs from my diet (especially at night) I cannot even try and describe how this turned out to those who have not made it. My advice, stop waiting- Its unreal how much it tastes the the real stuff...Just unreal! THANK you...THANK YOU- for this video....THanK yoU!
This was so good!!! I just made it for the first time. I only used 2 cups shredded cauliflower and only one egg because I was only making a serving for one and wasn't sure if it would taste good. The only other addition was that I used my scissors to cut up one clove of garlic and fried it with the onion wich gave it the authentic chinese taste. It was delicious. Thanks for the recipe/good luck to you , and all others who are low carbing it.
I made a garlic flavored cauliflower rice to go with my taco meat. I can't believe how delicious and rice like it was. I am amazed!!! Thanks for the demos. I must try more of your ideas.
I just made this and it freaking tastes like Fried Rice! I thought ok, its going to have some cauliflower taste to it since it IS actually cauliflower but it doesn't. It's amazing. Even the texture is like rice. I used peanut oil, didn't have any sesame. It still was good. Thanks for the recipe.
I'm eating at YOUR house. I've lost 105 pounds now and kept it all off. I can eat up to 70-90 grams of carbs a day and maintain but I love recipes like this, don't want to start the old carb cravings again. With those few carbs I could eat the whole pan full of this stuff easily.
1/2 cup of cauliflower is 1 carb. wow, i was freaking out on induction, thanx for this info. i have tried twice before, but now i will succeed! ignorance and boredom is what gets ya.
I just tried this dish today and am happy to report, it was a hit. It tasted just like fried rice. However, I am somewhat concerned about the carb content. I looked up carbs for cauliflower and it seemed high in carbs. Am I wrong?
I just made this and it was great! Wasn't as good as the real thing, but close enough to satisfy that craving. You have saved me from my evil fried rice relapses. lol. Thanks! ~Ramona
Just made this for lunch and it was incredible! So filling too. Definitly helps with my Chinese food crave!
