@DrGreenthumb96094 Yea danish is abit weird language, and hard to learn to speak because of many words are pronounced together, Sweden and Norway makes fun of us because of that.
There are plenty of guys like him in the police force, but they keep their mouths shut. Its so nice to see a man rising up against the current and speaking his mind, Could not agree more with him.
This cop is a fucking dumbass!Yes its impossible to stop drug traffic but its also hard to stop human traffic and rape.SO should well legalize rape?Fuck no!One more peron who haves to wake up and hear that there love one has died of at drug over dose is one to many.
Human trafficing and rape directly harms the victims. A well educated person on the topics of drugs will most likely not harm themselves, and will be very well aware of the possibilities of addiction. Do you really think if drugs were legalized that everyone would get hooked on heroin? Information, REAL information and education on drugs vs the now propaganda filled education on drugs would help solve a lot. At least legalize Cannabis, isolate that shit away from the other drugs.
@malla90 Use the 'interactive transcript' button (next to the 'flag as inappropriate' button) and you can read the transcript in your selected language. =)
This guy has some very logical thinking. If only more police officers were like him and had a higher thought process than "I must follow orders". Anyway this has given me some great points on my exam tomorrow where I have to write about why prohibition is futile. Great upload.
There are old people alive today talking about the alcohol prohibition. One day, I hope to be an old person smoking a blunt saying "I remember when it was illegal to chill and talk about random shit. Me and friends would always go in the woods with the bong and get blazed!" and the world will be such a happy place. People will turn away from alcohol and hard drugs to smoke weed and there will be less crime and everything will be awesome. I'm really high right now :)
Imagine if all police officers and officials just did they job how they like it... He is supposed to upheld the law not mix it with his own private opinion... If even did that, it would be chaotic.. The man is an idiot, he merely shares the opinion that thousand of others also have.
@MyDoominateR Please remember that Revolution starts in people's minds. When one police officer breaks out of the corrupted order and speaks his own true mind, the others will eventually follow him and make a chance for a change. Why support an evil agenda if you don't agree with it? It's the people who make the law, and if the law is against the people - well, it's definitely starving for a change.
In the US you are free to say any opinion you wish out of full uniform on the subject. But it takes courage to stand up for what you believe because other overzealous cops and their budget worried higher ups will give you $#(^. Also you have to be kidding that this problem should not be addressed, and standing up to the government and challenging it on any level is a form of revolt.
A police officer is supposed to do his job - enforce the law. As long as the law says that drugs are illegal, he is to do what the book tells him to do, end of the story.
@MyDoominateR Seriously, are you retarded? I've read some comments that you've posted and you seem like a low intelligent human being, but I'm not sure yet.
Has history taught you nothing? how about the prohibition of alcohol in the US in 192x? or the rise of Hitler? What if there were no brave people to make a change, should we just "hide" in the dark as you actually say when you say resign from the force just because something is really wrong? You are seriously retarded, or just trollin'
What the fuck are you on about you retarded neanderthal? Yes, thats right i now assume you are part of a subhuman species because i disagree (Thats apparently how things work here). Im saying that a police officer who doesnt respect the law WHICH IS THE LAW, shouldnt be a police officer.. THATS ALL IM SAYING, you fucking retard. What on earth has this to do with the rise of Hitler? and police officers were not the one who did anything about the prohibition, fuck are you on about?
If people never voiced their opinions, then reform would never take place. Saying you should follow your job to the fullest is a very idealistic view. Sure, in a perfect society everyone would be content with carrying out everything that their career calls for... but this isn't Star Trek. If you have a disagreement, it is completely rational to voice that. It's not like he was belligerent and causing havoc. He simply stood up, girded his loins, and spoke his mind.
@MyDoominateR that is not entirely true, discretion is always at hand if nobody is hurt or evidently in danger or that punishiment is considered unjust in comparison to the typical scenario. Atleast in the US
Everyday people on highways in large groups speed past cops in their traps- but they go after the guys going really fast, or dangerously slow for example.
@MyDoominateR he´s not an idiot - if u think he´s an idiot then your an idiot - he´s saying his opinion and he gets fired because of it - well hurray for the free countries and if u cant see what im talking about ur an idiot
Prohibition drives the crime globally, not only in Denmark, here in the USA, everywhere, the governments are creating the problem...what happened to we the people? We have to put a stop to this ridiculousness...who is the government to tell anyone what they can and cannot put in their own bodies....stupidity is abundant in the 21st century!
A cop who's actually reasonable .. Now thats rare.
The Problem: Many cops have criminal backgrounds, that they've chosen to leave, and then join the law enforcement. Therefor they are essentially no better than the criminals they hunt.
This man speaks sense. Good to see some fellow countrymen can see through the heaps of bullshit piled up by the media and ill-informed politicians. All the facts and all the numbers support what he says. Inform yourselves! Stop helping the criminals run their business and start taxing drugs so you can earn money to fight REAL crime!
When the host asks if legalization wouldn't increase use, especially among young people, they only need to look at the statistics of those countries who have tried it. Portugal legalized all drugs and moved the drug-war budget to health-care and prevention. Teenage drug use fell by more than 50%. AIDS rates dropped. Violent crime dropped... An idiot should be able to figure out the prohibition not only doesn't work; it makes it worse.
I wish cops were like this guy, he would protect my liberties and freedom. Any officer of politician who feels the same way should speak out in support of this man.
When it comes down to drug laws every officer will reach a crossroad where he can either decide to understand what he or she is seeing, realize it's inhuman and ineffective and get a major crisis, OR decide that anyone using any drug except alcohol/tobacco is druggie scum, which incidentally makes it a whole lot easier to keep on destroying lives while "just following orders". We'll see how the latter fares when the New Nurenberg trials start.
This cop should get an award! The only thing prohibition successfully does is prohibit regulation & taxation while turning even our schools and prisons into black markets for drugs. Regulation would mean the opposite!
How much longer are we going to foolishly risk our own survival by continuing to ignore the obvious, historically confirmed solution?

We need smart and articulate people like him who stand up for what is right. I just wish we had moments like that on german television. (Not that I watch television, but still ...)
Whilst the West was making 'war on drugs' the West was selling them...in Kosovo and other places, making big bucks.
