this is awesome all together like that. i've seen binders that were just stamps, or just die cuts, but you have a great idea in making it a sort of 'master list' of supplies. a couple of things you could would be ink samples, paint samples and marker samples. maybe embossing powders too.
great idea... for my inks and stickles and stamp pads...plus the embossing folders. I always hesitate buying things because I can't remember if I already have them. Thanks for sharing.
SusanJ. What an idea. I hav e way to many supplys in more then one place I like to recycle so have several scrapbooks to use. You have inspired this senior and will make my hubby happy. Thanks again SusanJ
Great idea! I'm trying to figure out what inventory system will work best for me but you're giving me a ton of great ideas! Now if only I had the time to sit down and actually tackle the project... TFS!
I stumbled on this video & love the idea. I accidentally duplicate my glitter, liquid pearls, inks, and paper all the time-even my magazines (I'll buy one, have no time to read it, set it aside and buy it again a few weeks later). This idea can be adapted to other things in your house you need to keep track of too (clothes, bills, family history records, books, Christmas ornaments, your kid's video games, DVDs...) Thank you!
This is a fantastic Idea!!! I have just begun scrapbooking so I think I will use this idea as I accumulate stuff. That way I don't have to do it all at once!! Thank you for this tip! I have actually found on the Ranger Ink website they have pdf charts you can download and print out to log all their products. I have printed out a few charts for items that I already Have. Its nice because they have all the colors that come in those products so you can see which ones you do and don't have!!
I did this too, but put mine on cardstock and hung them on the wall so I can see at a glance what I have. Of course I don't have nearly as much as you to choose from, LOL! I did this years ago with all my sewing patterns, using a binder, so I could take my sewing patterns to the fabric store with me. Saves duplication and time. :)
@blackstonecat What a great idea putting them on the wall! Ever since I hung my puches on the wall, I use them alot more. Bet that would work with this, too. I don't know if I'd have enough space on my walls anymore...lol!
OH MY!!! I have been wanting to organize my tools..... what a good system you have. Thank you so much for sharing!!!! I am going to start working on that THIS weekend!!

@doxielover66 I find this system invaluable...you won't regret doing it, but be prepared to spend alot of time on it. No worries, though...it will all be worth it in the end.
Yes! I'm currently re-organizing my scrap room so things are everywhere awaiting a new system so it's the perfect time for me to create a book! I have seen Christie's ideas also and they are great too so I'll be doing a little of both. Thank you!!!!
@LouisiLana It feels like I'm forever reorganizing my scrap room, but it's always fun to play my toys anyway...lol. Glad you found the video useful. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
This is an awesome idea! I get so confused because I do no know what I have! It takes forever to find stuff, figure it out...and then get so discouraged that I find it hard to create!
@shereeburress I can relate...I've built up alot of scrapbooking supplies this last year and needed a way to keep track of what I have and what's on my wishlist, which is now a new tab in my binder...lol! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Check out CreationsByChristie's channel - she has a video showing a similar binder called "My Inventory Book". I found her video after already posting mine, and I really like some of the things she has done.
What an AMAZING idea!!!!! I am going to have to do this!! I have SO often bought colors of ink or reinkers double and my embossing folders--this will definitely help me!! Thank YOU so much for sharing this!!!
@sarah24sza Putting this binder together was a bit tedious, but it has proven to be well worth it! I'm glad this idea helped you. Thanks for the feedback.
Awesome! What a great system. I'm going to start my binder tonight. Thanks for sharing!
