This is the sadest thing I have ever seen!!! I can't imagine one man on this world, never the less the group who made this ad, who does not like the cub and thinks that it is an indispensable product in the world... STUPID PEOPLE!!! We love the cub... I even got a 90cc Super Cub....

Thanks. Most agree it stinks. Including Honda in Japan, by the way. This is not shown in Japan. This is for Global Honda, in other words, 'for export only'. Anyone who has lived in Japan knows Japanese products exported are usually inferior to the domestic ones. Lots of reasons. Main one is fear of manufacture duplication. They've even sued several Chinese companies for copying the Cub and other products. But what do I know? I'm schtupid!! Duh! Lol.

I agree with humble too, fair enough they are "attempting" to make something better but why do away with the best product they have ever made. At least thats the message this advert conveys to me. Very anti cub I don't like it.

I don't care for the ad at all. Hiding the cub: bad idea. "Make it disappear from the world, by making something better. That is out aim." Very misguided message. You picked the wrong ad agency. What an awful message. This has to be the worst concept I've ever seen for an advertisement.

Why not just say: "Soichiro is dead, so who cares about the Cub anymore. Surely we don't."

I know this is harsh criticism for anyone who likes this ad. But I had to speak my piece. This ad is an insult.

what are you? stupid? The whole point is that Honda created a phenominal transport vechile, there really isn't really a need to improve it. But they are still attempting to make something even better than the super cub. How is this misguided?

The that they are trying to make is that cub will figuratively disappear in order to make way for the next great honda vehicle.

The whole point is that Honda is always trying to do one better. Just because you make something great, it doesn't mean you can make it even better.

Did you really think that when the ad said "make all of the cubs disappear" that honda literally hates the cub? Really? its called sarcasm.
