I never knew who steven Tyler were until he became one of the judges on American idol. when you see people in a group you don't know them but he is so down to earth and funny on American Idol and I like the way he and Jennifer talk to the contestant and how they interact and at least they know the songs , well as Simon he didn't care to know the songs or the contestant unless they look a certain way.
