For all we know another half-hour Wallace and Gromit film idea got approved this week... I hope there is news of another film in the next 12-18 months, though.
Woudn't count on it... After all, Nick Park is working on a feature film right now which is NOT Wallace and Gromit. Personally, I prefer them to take their time with each Wallace & Gromit film rather than just churning them out. As a matter of fact, I think "A Matter of Loaf and Death" wasn't quite up to par with Nick Park's three previous W&G films. The storyline wasn't nearly as clever as the others and you almost instantly knew who the murder was... there was no real mystery.
@Mesterius1 I know what you mean: The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave felt like feature films that just happened to be 30 minutes long, where as A Matter of Loaf and Death felt like a short film. Still, I really, really liked it.
I'm a 'Yank' and I love Wallace and Gromit! I love everything about them, from the clever storylines to the marvelous artwork. It's all a labor of love and it shows!
The members of staff shown in this documentary are just as charming as the films themselves! The passion and devotion for what they are doing, their efforts and their charming "Britishness" are visible in every single frame!
Gotta love the Brit modesty... nothing like the OTT hollywood hype the yanks "pour" into telling anyone that will listen how "difficult & technically challenging" making a movie is...*yawn*
Thats a very bias and false observation that shows there's a deeper issue within yourself. Why don't you just enjoy the video instead of injecting your own personal bias towards "Yanks"
Sorry... but just in case you haven't noticed... the whole world has what you call a "deeper issue" with yanks and I was highlighting this in my comment. This makes it a generalisation (note the spelling... no "zee") and far from a personal bias issue.
So...use it, don't use it - but if you are from the good ole' US of A, I doubt you will.... Yanks usually respond to critique by organising a full frontal assault on the "perpetrator" (or maybe you would like to class me as an "insurgent"?)
Who's the whole world? Maybe u want it to be the whole world but the only issue appears to be the one u have with yourself.
Maybe you're confused but that was a bias generalization based on your own personal issues.
Does it really matter how something is spelled nation to nation? I didn't even notice or care to notice but it seems you're looking to divide so every little thing counts.
You're just another hypocrite that is so quick to point fingers went u are doing exactly what u demonize
I like how you imply that yanks are from Hollywood (as opposed to the east coast) and assume that all American comedy is about sex and crude language. Course you "Brits" have Monty Python, which was always wholesome and never pushed the envelope or offended large groups of people. So cheer mate.
see the mistake at 5:07, on the kinife or unbrella, looking throught the door, look at the right part of the knife or unbrella untill wallace opens the door
@TheHiggledypiggledy So do I! They're just way too awesome. It'd be great to see an episode of wallace and gromit and think. " i did that bit, that was all me!" XD
2:50 I love when Wallace slides into his pants!!! I remember he did this too in another W&G movie, can't remember which one. I totally want to be able to do this though!!
I still have to see the actual short (lol i know, slow much), but I find the workings behind claymation endlessly fascinating =) Nick Park and Aardman are amazing, love W&G
It was brilliant when the BBC showed this last year as part of their christmas season! I loved it! Very funny! :) They also showed the Were-rabbit one.
i saw this like everyone else at christmas and the ONLY yes ONLY thing i actually went and switched on the TV, because its WORTH IT, just WORTH IT. everything else is utter rubbish as far as i;m considered
