HELL IS NOT GOING BE NO PARTY .

  • @JESUSSHEDHISBLOOD Troll.

  • The fact that some people comment here that this is a "masterpiece" indicates just how much American film has declined in the past few decades. It also indicates how strong an appetite for human degradation has been habituated by many viewers. This movie is a good example of the cultural turn toward responding to human degradation and tragedy by exploiting and being "entertained" by it. When it came out, my friends and I laughed at its lameness, now untold millions are spent on the same crap.

  • the hitchhiker plays a brilliant part, he looks totally creepy for real. The gas station attendent is a great actor he really fillss the pyschotic role pretty good. hes also in the 2nd fiilm with dennis hopper (R.i..P) and plays the loony very well with hilarious moments. NOW U JUST CO-OPERATE NOW U HEAR!! LOL

  • Tobe Hooper a sick bastard, good movie hehe

  • in the anals of american history

  • Lmao at Franklin! Weeeeee!

  • it is almost painful to watch such a masterpiece of modern horror film on a platform like this, with an intro like this, in a qualitiy like this, in a wrong aspect ratio like this. shame on you Gamefighter66.

  • I love movies like this. So awesome.

  • what camera makes that noise?

  • Horror Classic. (Remakes of this sucked and so did Andrew byrniski). Gunnar Hansen is the man, and I also liked Bill Johnson too.

  • I haven't watched the movie but I'm already scaredD:

  • hey man thanks for putting these vids up and not being a ass and telling us to go to a dumb website

  • @ThePhill98 Amen to that brother!

  • fuck and it all happened in my birthday wat a day

  • 5 youts

  • I remember being scared while watching this with my mother back when it aired in T.V. in the mid 80's.

  • i love sex

  • This was such a great movie! I could watch it a million times if I could! I also made a tribute video to leather face and texas chainsaw massacre on my channel. You all should check it out! Also, if you subscribe to my channel, I will subscribe back!

  • this is really good i love tthis

  • someday well meet leather face.. and im gonna kill you dumb ass

  • That poor bastard in the wheelchair doesn't stand a fucking chance in hell

  • The music is this movie was creepy as hell. Sounds like experimental music.

  • The opening narrator is the guy who played the villain in Richie Rich. Think about that.

  • masterpiece

  • this rapes the remake in the ass

  • omg

  • I think that we can all safely agree that the opening sequence to this movie is scarier than the whole remake.

  • szar ez akinek tecik az 1 gyilkos

  • jeff dahmer would watch this and or Return of The Jedi before he'd put in work lol

  • This movie may feel outdated and at time more silly scary and it can even be drawn out,but at times I feel there is some sort of genius to this work then you'd think. It doesn't use the cliche jump scares too often and it feels darker and uses less music then any other horror film I've seen.Maybe I'm just an idiot but this film has always stood out to me in some way even if it's legacy has been ruined do to the terrible sequals.

  • This movie is more funny than scary

  • leatherface is my idol i can.t relate to him ill love to chop somebodys skin off eat it and put it on my face and my skin walk around with somebodys skin on my face just like my idol leatherface my idol and do it all with a chainsaw to and have fun doing it to and eat some eggs and bacon while talking to the dead corps

  • @GreatkingAlexander well i dont think he was actually evil or even enjoyed it he was just a big overgrown violent inbred retard and thats the truth!

  • @GreatkingAlexander You're very disturbed aren't you?

  • @MrCaCaaaaaaaaa pretty much very distured and i love it

  • @GreatkingAlexander Yeah, and what I love about movies that are based on true stories too...they always get you to react.

  • @adamdicy well said

  • chainsaws make for the best splatter films

  • @HighFlyingRaven

I was the one defending the film. Why are you sending this message to me?

  • Amazing piece of art. As low as the budget was on this movie, it's still easily one of the best movies I've ever seen.

  • old horror movies are the best. They may be drawn out a bit, but hey, that's suspense right

  • @josep3r3z damn right

  • @josep3r3z

    of course.

today horror movies need to have nonstop action due to the fact that everybody has the attention span of a mosquito nowadays

  • well while its terriable as about the real life ppl killing and eating other ppl these horror movies are good and they cant really harm anyone unless u fear leatherface in your dreams :)

  • @imthegreenfaiiry

He was convicted of two murders, so technically he's not a "serial killer." His motive was sexual confusion because of religious zealotry from his mother.

he was strange, but most people didn't feel threatened by him, and he wasn't put to death. He was found to be criminally insane and was committed to a mental hospital, where he died in 1984.

And his house burned long after his commitment to the hospital. It was torched the day before it was to be sold at auction.

  • this movie may not be bad by todays standerds but back then they thought it was so bad they banned it in several countries almost as soon as it was in theaters

  • @ShadowWolfofPack

You thought 3 was better than this one? I don't mean to criticize, but really?

Though I'm glad someone else does like the remake. It was very well made, and gets hated on just because of the very fact it is a remake.

  • @SLPIFan Yeah, really. 3 had a good setting and atmosphere in general and was believable yet intense, whereas the original was just some badly directed surreal crap that made me laugh more than once.

I agree with that, anyway. People are so prejudiced when it comes to remakes. I also saw its prequel a few days ago; that was rather good as well.

  • @ShadowWolfofPack

You got to keep in mind when this film was made and what the budget was. It was surreal yes, but I think that helped with atmosphere. But yeah, each to their own. Some people would be more angry at what you said, but it's all opinion isn't it.

I agree that the prequel was good, and was probably also the darkest of any of the TCM films.

  • @SLPIFan Yes, I'm glad we can sensibly disagree. Personally, I don't think a surreal atmosphere suits TCM.

  • too bad the only thing about this move that's true is that he wore dead people's skin on his face

  • Ah you gotta love how movies can realistically represent the gruesome crimes that serial killers and psychopaths got away with for years before being locked up. Today it's all slash slash slash "I'm actually your mother's other son!" Torture porn shit, whatever happened to the good old days? With Ed Gein, Ted Bundy Jeffrey Dahmer etc? We need to see more movies like this and less movies like the bullshit we see these days

  • Yeah True I found newer movies Like saw etc that people rave about have alot of filler

  • HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT! ahhahaa, i was skipping the intro when it was all black, and i was at like 2:40 and this burnt man or something popped up in the screen and it made me heart just stop for like 5 seconds, scared the living hell outa me, and i haven't even watched the movie yet :P

  • @MG21749 same here

  • @MG21749 lol that scared me too! i watched it with my sis a few years ago and we didn't want our parents to know we were watching it and then the body showed up on the screen and we both screamed at the top of our lungs! needless to say, our parents came downstairs and saw what we were watching and it prompted them to put a child lock on the tv XD

  • @im18dammit100 ahahaha!! that's hilarious!! yeah i just watched this whole movie though and it wasn't that scary ahaha. i was disappointed :(

  • @MG21749 yeah i watched it at a friend's house a couple weeks later and i was disappointed too. all the hype about the original had me thinking that it was going to be as scary(if not scarier) as the 2003 remake. how wrong i was....i mean i could see how this could be scary in the 70s(even though there were still wayyyyy scarier movies that came out before this) but now, it's just boring. the scariest part was the dead body at the beginning and MAYBE the hitchhiker scene.

  • @MG21749 the girl getting dragged into the house and put up on a hook could've been scary but the girl's acting was so bad it became a farce

  • THS IS A REAL STORY...BASED ON THE LIFE ON ED GEIN...

  • @SKATHAROZOUMISS

You could say the crimes themselves were true, but the story itself was pure fiction. Ed Gein robbed graves and killed some people, decorated his house with body parts and wore human skin, but he lived alone. He didn't do any of his atrocities until everyone in his family had died. Apart from the home's grusome decor and his unusual wardrobe, there isn't anything here thats true.

  • wsde

  • this was banned in Ireland for years :( very scary

  • all my exes live in texas.

  • @2:30 that is one sexy motherfucker.

  • @music4life21398 helllll yea ;D

  • This is based on true events but BARELY.

if you want to know how simlar the movie is to the events in real life go here:

  • no guy ever used a chiansaw that was for the movie it is realy based on the murder of 2

  • the real guy was named ed gein. his mom never let him play with girls so it kind of messed him up in the head. so he wanted to become to become one so he killed girls and skinned them and wore their skin. he also ate them too. but he never had a chainsaw. i did research on him. also on aron ralston and chris mccandless :) those two are great

  • lol i live in texas, but his dead now right????

  • @animalrights800

Ed Gein, the guy who inspired this, lived in Plainfield Wisconsin, was arrested in 1956 ? (forgot exact date), and died in a mental hospital in 1984.

  • Is Iht Basedd On A Truee Storyy.?

  • @r0sachola13 No, it was based on a real person, though. Ed Guin, look it up, haha.

  • @xXchelsearoxXx

Buh Didntt He Also Kill Peoplee.?

  • @r0sachola13 Yeah, he ate them too. He'd also wear the skin as a mask from his victims. He's dead now, though. He never had a chainsaw though.

  • Whats the name of the song at the beginning?

  • God.. I live in Texas D:

  • @RavingFoxie Me too xD

  • When they say it was based on a REAL LIFE Person or it was based on TRUE events, you never know how much of it really happened and how much is just been made up. I mean it is a movie so obviously they have to make it scary and probably make most of the events up or add more to it and they weren't there when all this happened so they can only show us what they assumed happened.

  • i live in texas...no murderers like that here

  • texas ftw!

  • AWSOME!

  • classic!!!!

  • All those cows. That's the reason there is an outbreak of ecoli every now and then. They live in such unsanitary conditions. It's the same with chickens and pigs.

  • these guys remind me of a cartoon i use to watch, only these guys didnt solve the crime...

  • My family (not including me) grew up ten miles away from the house :o

  • @SabrinaaaMusic They've made it into a restaurant since haven't they?

  • @regentalcoing i think is like a bed and breakfast place now.

  • i do not get this version i like the modern one better

  • @TheNaruto2000 the modern one is fucking shit

  • OH MY GOSH, i live just outside of ft worth?!?!?!?!?

  • FART.

  • thank you for this wonderful upload.

  • hey this might sound stupid by how is 'tobe' pronounced? is it just 'toby' but spelled different or tobe like 'lobe'?

    :/

  • @ihazachi I'm pretty sure it's Tobe like Toby

  • @devilhead66613 k thanks im dumb aren't i? Q.Q

  • @ihazachi lol it happens

  • สุดๆ

  • why does there have to be heavy metal music for leatherface movies? it always makes me laugh hard when i see this happen

  • yes but the new texas chainsaw massacre is the real terror of horror. scarier, shocking and really wrede!!!!!

  • Texas chainsaw masaccre 1974 is the only original movie, all others are bad copy

  • Edward Theodore Gein has the most of the creds for this awsome movie!

  • Anyone recognize the voice of the narrator in the beginning? That's John Larroquette from 'Night Court'.

  • @cjanez13 Eh, can't really say anything about that one :)

  • I love watching movies on YouTube because I don't feel as scared cause I don't feel alone when I read the comments...

  • @Vanadell191 pussy? jkjk

  • this is just like the house of 1000 corpses

  • i like the remake more

  • @docthegamer :O That's got to be a joke?

  • thumbs up if this would be freaky in 3d

  • @Songbird12561

I meant nowadays. Sure, just about every state has a psychopathic killer at some point and time.

  • looks like...

    *puts on glasses*

this movie is just getting started..

    YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH

  • i love that noise when the pictures are taken.

  • @pinkfloyd32389 Ever notice that of Marilyn Manson's I put a spell on you cover has that sound in the begining ?

  • @bolmsp i'll have to check that out

  • @pinkfloyd32389 sweet its on the remix lp smells like children

  • SO much better than the dumb-ass remake they made...

  • any fucker who dislikes this needs to be chainsawed and made into some human artefact for an example

  • My pants are black and my balls are twisted

  • ive watched this movie a thousand times and and i still love how it has this creepy disturbing mood to it

  • @paintballer4life105 In my opinion, TCM is one of those RARE (horror) movies that no matter how many times you watch it, you'll, STILL, find it entertaining! I can't tell you how many times I've seen TCM!

  • Not taking anything away from this movie, I'm seriously addicted to it. But why would this movie still be able to be viewed, as to the movie 'Mother's Day' get yanked?

  • for fucks sake with you people. this was not based on a true story. it was inspired by true events which didn't happen the way they happened in this film at all. Everyone knows this.

  • I first saw this movie when I was 10 years old at my friends house one hot summer night in California back in 1987 and it scared the LIVING HELL out of me.I remember before my dad had rented it on VHS and he said I was too young to watch it but I remember hearing chainsaw sounds from the living room where my dad was watching the movie at night while in bed.Needless to say when I finally saw the film it blew me away.I felt like I was watching actual documentary footage.Scariest Movie Ever IMO!!!

  • @clublife32 That makes TWO of us! I've been a horror fan since my pre-teen years (I'm 40, right now). Believe it or not, despite being a horror fan, I was HESITANT about watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. To this day, I DON'T KNOW WHY. Maybe it was the mere film title-who knows? Anyway, I, TOO, was FLOORED by such a film! In my opinion, if you "made it through" TCM, you can make it through ANY horror film-like me!

  • @clublife32 u no things have changed alot cuz when i was 10 i saw the exoricist all by myself and it wasnt really that scary to me,and now that im 12 it seems even less scary!

  • @clublife32 absolutely the same as me. Hot summer back in late 80s when i was about 13 and introduced me to horror films. I have been a horror fan ever since. :)

  • they should cut the animals from the neck at the vein where it cuts off any sensation.

  • which part of texas? dallas austin?

  • To me this is the scariest movie of all time.

  • thank god I dont live in texas

  • @dezmoses

Brah, I live in Texas and stuff like this never happens...

Living in Texas is just like living in any other state, except much warmer.

  • @dezmoses yes, i live in houston, and it's a madhouse! you can't turn around without seeing a retarded transvestite wearing human skin running with a chainsaw! they're everywhere! and don't even get me STARTED on the cannibal incest. that's the only people you will find in texas except me.

  • @CHAOSin8bits dat true

  • @CHAOSin8bits dat aint true

  • @dezmoses lol

  • Comment removed

  • @dezmoses this shit dont happen in Texas anymore, it was in like the 1800s or something like that!

  • Hell yeah!

  • @23fagg sick maniac

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes this really did happen dumb fuck

  • @violentjay55 no it didn't.. tdawg is correct.. do some research kid

  • @violentjay55 holy shit ur kidding right?this is fiction based on fact..its loosely based on Ed Gein read up on him and ull c

  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre didnt happen, it was very loosely based on Ed Gein, who never used a chainsaw and killed several people in Wisconsin, and who cares just enjoy the movie

  • @tdawgturner dude did'nt u see the documentary?

  • Franklin got owned!!!!!! Oh the joy of seeing fat people roll down hills.

  • I like the 2003 remake with Jessica Biel as much as this one. They are both intense, suspenseful and scary. Both have excellent chase scenes and a chainsaw-wielding retard named Leatherface.

  • Yes it was a story based on Ed Gein who lived in wisconsin not texas and he didnt use a chainsaw and he only killed 2 people i think the rest he dug up from the grave yard

  • Brilliant movie-no other can compare with the atmosphere and utter hopelessness of this film. I was in Texas traveling in summer as a teen and I can literally "feel" some of these scenes. I think this is my 2nd favorite horror film ever, behind the Exorcist.

Nothing compares to 70's horror. The music and sounds alone are enough to scare the crap outta ya.

  • I live in Texas, and let me tell, this is so comforting.

  • 29 people live in texas.

  • THE NEW TRILERS ARE NO SCARY...THIS IS THE REAL STUFF...BASED ON REAL STORY

  • ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER.......AND IT IS A REAL STORY

  • @SKATHAROZOUMISS prove it show me a site that tells me that?? its a story based off ED Gein

  • @violetflame1980 why are you so hell-bent on proving that?

  • @SKATHAROZOUMISS Not exactley the only thing it is loosely based on is Ed Gein, who killed several people and used their body parts for furniture and clothing. And he didnt use a chainsaw and it wasnt in texas.

  • everytime i see this movie i feel like the devil is in the house

  • @raymondleezavala i feel you ma nijna, i feel you dude :(

  • @raymondleezavala I agree me too.

  • Best title ever!!!

  • I just watched the ten first minutes of the remake and now watching the orignal I can with ease conclude that this is much creepier.

  • @ACruelPicture never have any expectations for michael bay LOL.

  • i love this movie, its the best

  • what is the name of the song at the beggining I really want to know

  • TOBE HOOPER = GENUIS

  • @booblies I won't argue that!

  • Just the text at the begining gives me a creeps
