1). XP is more than just a rebadged Hitachi. HP and HItachi have had a technology relationship for over 10 years now. Many of the Hitachi developments in the XP started with HP.
2). True that there is a part of the XP that can sustain a bullet but not because there isn't anything "vital" - it's because everything is redundant so when the bullet took out half of the boards in the XP, the other half kicked in.
this actually happened my mom told me bout this she works for hewlett packard and she didnt get to do this but the engineers found a certain point in the computer so it wouldnt damage any vital software
Wow, its meant to be slightly ummm satirical however if a disk array can take a hit from a bullet and be fine than it has excellent redudancy and stability, you guys obviously know nothing of storage and storage management.

Can I just make the little point this product is in fact made by hitatchi, HP just slaps a HP badge on this and sells it at a mark up.
