@Theresayoungify Thanks. I know they were hit hard with flooding there. Here's hoping that they can get the road fixed and open by the time peak leaves come. If I ever find myself up that way in the fall I will most certainly film that route again.
@val freeways..one other interesting point about your vid ..the building at the hair pin turn was "replaced" in the late 50's after a tractor- trailer went thru it..it used to face the road about where the parking lot is now
great vid...i was born and raised in shelburne falls.and have travled over the "trail" many times..but this was first time since i left in 1961...does anyone know how to "slow this down"?
@bokkey45 I'm going to say you're right on that. I believe it was signed as such in the 1920s but the road does date back to the 19th century. My mistake.
@Bryant5493 Thanks! I wish I would've had a little more time to film up there but so it goes. You can imagine how beautiful that road must be when the leaves are at peak color.
Good detail that of the slow-mo pieces, they make a good change of phase and make the video more interesting.
How long are your usual road journeys? I mean, how many hours do you spend when shooting this videos? I usually ride on my motorcycle and I can go on for hours (even 12 hours!) and never get tired of enjoying a good road!

i thought the mohawk trail dated back to the mid 1800s (one of america's first highways)
