Thanks for the response bioenergi. We farm in areas where this crop is either not legal or the processing facilities do not exist. The Swedish DM totals are compelling. Is the fertility management similar to other grasses (for example maize/ corn or other forages)? We are intrigued by these types of emerging cropping alternatives that give us non-commodity possibilities. From the Americas, best wishes.

@VikingoEl22 The field is located in Heiligenberg, Austria. Theyield was about 5 t DM / ha. This is a rather low number, as we have seen yields of ca 15 t DM / ha in a 4 year average (in southern Sweden).
