Why all the hateful comments. Many great ideas, ideology and religion comes from Egypt. Moses the great prophet was brought up and educated in Egypt. Islam and christians has their base in judaism, why complain about Israel? We are all the same.

In some christian countries like Russia, muslims are being persecuted and in the middle east, the christians are being persecuted.

As a Muslim Egyptian American, I abhor the the mistreatment of Coptic Egyptians. I have always had a great deal of respect for them as a people because they are the roots of Masr. Nevertheless, I find these protests as taking an anti-Islamic stance rather than a pro-equality one. Isn't a bit unfair to blame the religion and the people who follow it? Islam has not done this to the Copts.

Im from Lebanon and i'm a Maronite christian, i know its history and its full of the christians DEFENDING themselves against Islamic nations and armies. Churches were taken over and made into mosques, many christians murdered for not converting, all in the name of ALLAH. so with all due respect don't be ignorant of the truth.

America will NEVER stop funding Egypt. America is the largest supporter of the Egyptian government. The Egyptian government (secular) is killing the Copts NOT "radical" Muslims. So in other words the Secular Egyptian state and America are both partners. That is why neither government helps the Chrisatians.
