I like to spend my last 4-5 bids on oDesk on high bids on projects that are not likely to hire me.  A bunch of times so far I've had my bid accepted anyway even though my price was 5-10 times the average bid.

Your vids are really informational, I like doing small commissions for people I know and think that this might suit me. Do you feel someone can become successful even if their marketable skills are at a less than professional level (I'm still getting my degree)?
