For as long as i've been their client I've NEVER been late on my payments or over the limit. 01/14/2012 they suddenly decide to cut my credit without so much of sending a mail/email/phone call notification. I on the other hand know that I have available credit on my card and am using it, I guess I'm over the limit now, this will go on my credit history and 7-10 years down the road will be still affecting ME negatively.

I really would not be surprised to read in the newspaper that in fact Citi had failed.

Have you considered doing a share holders proposal. Some good videos on subject. How about a wells Fargo foreclosure on my vacant income property in less than 3 months. Only had a 8 day notice, time is of the essence letter before they started foreclosure by advertising.

I have OUTSTANDING credit and under the plan it was interest free for 3 years.....I'm sure you've seen the commercials.... Well they DENIED me the interest free program even though my credit score is 810.... lol WTF.... Citi bank is a joke... Sleep country offered me a different loan WITH interest!!! I said NOPE and walked... so be careful with that offer people...

I used to work for them not only are they evil they are also completley incompetent. Raising interest rates like this is completley wrong and institutions like this are destroying the middle class not just in the USA but all over the western world.
They don't want responsible credit card users, they want dead-beats that end up with huge credit card balances, and end up paying interest only 30% re-payments on that debt balance for the next 20 years.
The "good' credit card users are just taking up room in their database, and they want you gone. Simple really.

Citi is just trying to determine the risk and raise rates accordingly. Well I got one of those letters and they thought there was little risk That I would close my account since I never miss a payment or am never late, because i would be too scared to take a credit score hit. Guess what happened. Account closed. Citi will soon be one of those companies you remember.
Sounds like paypal. They want to screw everyone.
