Fretless guitar song #3 !!

Where did you manage to find the guitar for sale? I can only find the harp guitar on Tim's homepage, and I've been dying to find a "professional" fretless.

I designed my own, but the sustain is negligible higher up on the neck. The Vigier Surfreter is excellent, but it sounds more "tinny", and it costs freaking 3500 dollars.

Does anyone sell this?

Hey man, how much did you pay for that fretless? Is the sustain better than in e.g. a homemade wooden fretboard? I really want to get into fretless guitar, but there aren't really many songs (that don't go immediately to crazy levels, like Bumblefoot's stuff), so I'm kinda lost.

And I'm playing a homemade Strat replica made by Cruiser or whatever. I haaate the sore/uneven spots :P

I think EC meant - if it wasn't fretless, he wouldn't be able to get the same smooth transitions when sliding up and down the finger board. Otherwise the song could be played regardless of frets or not.

positioning fingers must be like learning again how to play since the frets are straight and hands are not used to that. so my question is, do you have a couple strings maybe, slighly detunded so you can hit with your finger more accurately?

or do you manage to press the strings pretty much describing imaginary lines, in a fret-like style?

No, my strings are not slighly detuned, This guitar is tuned in E A D G B E. I manage to press the string on the point where the fret should be.
