Sorry I should've stated why I preached baptism below, I wanted to do this because the person in the video implies that it's not required.

I want to share what I believe is the truth of baptism from the Bible itself.

Water Baptism is Jesus' ordinance (Mark 16:15-16; John 3:3-5). Acts 2:38, Peter preaches repentance in Jerusalem as Christ prophesied in Luke 24:46-47. This is commanded by Jesus and we are called to Obey Jesus' commands. (John 14:23, Heb. 5:9). Acts 22:16 says Paul got his sins washed away after being baptized.

Alot of us Christians are hell bound because we think we are safe, we have to turn away from sin and put God first. And when God forgives us it wont be because of our deeds, because we are not enough but because of God's grace through Jesus Christ (Thank you Lord, phew,lol)and we obey him because believing in him means believing his law is good and correct!! Jesus Christ died on the cross as a the penalty so that Gods law can be fulfilled, its there but we receive it by faith. And this receiving is followed by repentance which is literally turning away from our sins and stop doing those things God doesn't like. God commands us not to commit murder. Have I received my salvation if I go on a rampage killing people? No because my deeds show that I don't believe in God when I reject his commandments.

dreamerdelo, Jesus died for our sins and salvation is there for us to receive that is true. These questions helped me consider: 1 A person asks God for strength but in their hearts believes that they wont get it because she feels she knows 'it wont happen and she wont meet this essay deadline because she is way behind.' Has this girl received her salvation even though salvation is there?
