These sirens were great. We had these on most of the Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) firetrucks until about ten years ago. Everybody loved using the RIOT tones, and they really cleared traffic. Now it's all Code 3 and Federal sirens, so firetrucks sound like ambulances, which sound like police cars. Too bad really, because everyone knew it was a firetruck coming by the unique RIOT tones. And I'm not a big fan of the "Q" sirens. They're effective, but the NASIG "RIOT" tones were the best!
