Actually he couldn`t sing almost at all but he was great dancer and poser. He got pretty mad in early 60s and later overdosed with LSD and lost his sense at all. Bowie met him in Paris (Vince was real gigastar in France for a while) and inspired by his looney stories created Ziggy.

it's a scopitone, a jukebox movie made in france sometime in the early 60s. cheap production values but vince's star quality shines throughout. he WAS ziggy indeed!
