  • protection first guys......

  • that forms just gona work your traps like this, small amount of rear delt involvement but the range of motion is far too great to isolate the delt and have mximum muscle activation.

  • HELP:

When I do this exercise should I feel the burn when I am pinching shouler blades back? I want to make sure I am doing this exercise correctly.

I think my rear delts are getting worked, but also feel front being worked too

    Anyone?

  • people are so misinformed when in comes to health fitness

  • something i dont get about rear deltoid exercises: bend elbows or dont bend elbows?

this guy doesnt bend em much, but alot of guys have like a 90 degree bend.

  • @xxRandomnameguyxx it doesnt really matter as long you dont flex them while doing it but ull get a higher difficulty by keeping them straight ;)

  • @xxRandomnameguyxx You can do both, I think elbow bend is valuable to begin with so you are aware of your shoulder rotation. You can even bend up to 90, call it a row if you like, doesn't matter.

  • yummy

  • Finally, a decent expertvillage video. LOL

  • I guess the Hulk is the only image of fitness for many of these insecure guys on here.

  • yay for idiot banging his weights in the background...

  • @phoLegit dipshit

  • @STIerwin lemme guess you do it too. and buddy look at the date 4 months ago, i dont give a sht.

  • One of the few guys I've seen that does this right. Seen so many people doing this deltoid with bad form. This is a really great video.

  • looks like Dave Chappelle has been working out! sorduf sounds like him too! ha

  • hes doing it wrong

  • I been doing mine one arm at a time with 45lbs of weight for 12 reps 3 sets...I can do it but who knows...and my form is correct. I guess as long as I can do it and its not a bother, then do it.

  • One of my favourite online instructors.

Tip: To target the rear or poterior delts, you need to open the palms to the feet (medial rotation at the shoulder joint). This will rotate the rear delt high on the shoulders and allow it to take a load of the traps.

  • @ZahinSingh posterior** correction on behalf of Victorian Fitness Acadamy

  • Fast and to the point. Great demo

  • good exercises for deltoid.nice man.

  • Rear delts are like traps and shoulder raises, they really don't require a lot of weight. I do mine with 15 or 20 lbs. Save the heavy stuff for the shoulder presses.

  • protection first use condom

  • have u ever tried doing those? do it with 20 and u will be done in the first set, thats why the light dumbells

  • very, very true. someone who would debate that, doesn't know weights.

  • He's doing rear delts not chest ..... ass

  • lmao

  • i never seen 8lbs dumbells lol its usually 5,10,15,20,25 etc lol

  • i have some 8lbs dumbbells...mine go 5, 8,10,12,15, then by 5's up to 50

  • isnt that for the upper back

  • back of shoulders

  • it is for the upper back too it is not just the back of the shoulders, reverse butterflies train your middle trapezius part as well as rhomboids so whoever gave you the negative remark has no idea

  • yes it is, rear deltoid is part of upper back!

  • Of course I can't fucking do it right my gut is too fucking big which makes correct form almost impossible. Yes, I'm losing weight too I'm not just lifting weights.

  • lol

    u guys are funny :)

  • guys, they use lightweight to show us how to do it.

  • @mrijfi nope, you have to do light weight for this exercise

  • @mrijfi

so you think using heavy weights means professionaL?

  • WRong.. REar delts are sensitive, and they are a supporter muscle, not meant to be pushign heavy weight... This can also help rotator cuffs, being that they are slow twitch muscle fibers,.. IF u have loose form on doing these exercises u'll get a loose labarum,or bad rotator cuffs.. MOst huge body builders that aren't on juice do these type of workouts for conditioning..

  • @imadebobie Who says rear delts are not "meant" to push heavy weight? They look like they have just as much room to grow as front delts and people make them huge.

  • plus its just a demonstration

  • Plus your shoulder joint is something you will never want to injure period. And your rear delts are a very small muscle group. This is not as easy as it looks pal

  • Your rear delts are one of the smallest muscles that you work, plus you also put a lot of strain on your rotator cuff. So have fun doing bullshit reverse flys w/ heavy weight, I hope you don't play a sport asshole.

  • muck1e says strick form is only necessary on some excersise. on every excersise your meant to use a slow and controlled motion. jerking and swinging is never acceptable

  • no need for heavy weight. It is a small muscle group.

  • I would appreciate if you keep those unclean words to yourself. Thanks

  • i find this alot beter laying on bench

  • lol yh..without a partner theres no motivation

  • I need a hot woman as the workout partner

  • Oh, really?

  • I need a workout partner

  • Is rear deltoid same as posterior deltoid?

  • yes

  • also latetral delts

  • @takla3210 yes

  • cheers mate my deltoids are gettin alot stronger ;)
