the first time i went in there, i wasnt sure what to expect. i seriously freaked out when i saw that massive spider thing just fall from nowhere, and murder ALL my pikmin before i could even fight it....
Tip: Don't charge with so many pikmin. Use 20 or so because it'll be much easier to control. Also, its harder for them to get stepped on obviously. And its not like you'll need to every single one because you can only throw like 15 on him before he shakes em off

Would you post a video of you fighting beady long legs without the music playing, but only with the sound effects playing? This way, I can hear Beady long legs wiggling noise better.
i remember fighting this on pikmin 2 in order to win that battle mode on the main screen. I lost 70 or so pikmin. I like how in some other games. really tough bosses are all big and tricked out with horns, or wings or a giant weapon. but this game has a really tough boss, that is really simple yet so hard.
yeah the bosses in this game were insanely hard. they are alot simpler in 2 because of their small size. maybe due to their populations is growing, or they are younger versions.
i forgot o say the one in challenge mod is the same as the one in pikmin 2. he even walks the same way as the one in pikmin 2( he isnt walking but turning).
I found the best stratergy (sorry if me spell bad at spelling derp) was to go in with elite groups of 5-10 as big groups are harder to control and just get smoosh as seen at 0:26 :)

If you have enough time only two to five pikmin can be used to kill it without any deaths if you manage them correctly.
