On another note, in numerous places, pigeons are considered a pest bird. This tarantula owner did the world a favor while feeding his pet at the same time. Two birds(pigeons) with one stone =]. Oh and don't forget "Thug" bunny, your a homo.

Ok, now how many of you have ever seen a Tarantula of this size eat a cricket in the wild? Exactly, they'll gladly take a lizard, snake, frog, rodent, baby bird, and a small adult bird in the wild. Oh, and not one of them will be dead. Not to mention any of those is much MUCH higher in nutrition than ANY insect. None of mine would even take crickets or roaches once they reached certain sizes. Not to mention, I've never even seen a Tarantula take a dead item. If one has, say goodbye to nutrition.

I actually used to feed one of my T's (the salmon pink) thawed pieces of chicken and steak and it took them without any problems. It is a lot more fun to feed it live mice though!
