I feel like such a noob, but: how do you mirror videos?? I'm no videomaker and just suscribe to channel I like. But I wanna be more active in supporting causes that, well, I support (please excuse the bad grammer :S )
with XP, you used to be able to go to the cache in content.IE5 hidden folder and there'd be a file called "get_video" and that would be the flash object. Just save it and type the extension ".flv" After I got windows Vista, i could no longer do that.
Actually, I remember the keepvid thing from this past summer, when I attempted to download the "Evolution Is Impossible" video - It worked. Thanks again, Deccha.
and yeah and for anyone who wants to edit downloaded videos you can use "free youtube to download" for just the sound use "free youtube to mp3 converter" you can download many videos at a time with these programs
I keep getting, "The Webpage cannot be found found" window whenever I click on either download option for low or high quality. Why is that? I use Windows Vista in case anyone needs that info.
That's what I'm trying to do. If I could SINGLE HANDEDLY make the videos viral I would, but I can't because that's not really viral, that's... one guy caughing allot.
That really is much easier to use the firefox plugin.
My only problem is, if I want to edit the video (not the case for mirroring though), I have to convert the video 2 times before I can get it to open in Sony Vegas... at least until someone shows me a program that will convert it in one pass to something that works with Vegas.
Maybe I just need a better converter... because it's not the types that is the problem, it's that it shows up corrupted in Vegas, but not MovieMaker, so I convert it again in MovieMaker, then it works. I'll see if MediaCoder does the trick... thanks.
The firefox add-on "DownloadHelper" is the easiest to use, and the website youtubeloader is handy too, it allows you to download the video in mp4 format
Why mirror a video? Is it to do with when youtube scans a video thing?

A 10 times easier way is to use Inernet download manager.

@simsworldvideos Please, before writing a comment in English, learn English.
Download a program called ''Hypercam 3'' if you only want to record your screen. It's free.

in safari, open activity window, doubleclick the largest file (mb range) and this will load an flv to desktop much faster simpler than keepvid.
in safari or firefox use the download button (from google blogspot forum) this loads an mp4, best quality w/mp3 stereo sound.

You did it the same way as i copied the videos onto my channel from Google video :)

Tried MediaCoder?
Minttzz 3 years ago
No, I haven't. Have you tried it with Vegas by chance? I'll check it out.
freedom0f5peech 3 years ago
No, I don't have Sony Vegas, but you pretty much should be able to convert from almost any format to any other.
