The agreement also states "U.S. combat forces will withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009" another event that most liberals credit Obama with. With the war in Iraq already practically over by the time Obama is in office I'd hardly say it was his military success.

He's not the same as Bush. But cut him some slack -- pulling out in the middle of a war without regard for realities is downright irresponsible.

No, Bush is not the worst president ever. I admit his presidency was horrible in his second term. Although I respect Pres. Obama for fulfilling his campaign promise and is why I supported him. He actually has been just as hawkish as Bush. This however will not help him in 2012 because of the 9% unemployment rate and a slow economy and presidents get blamed for it. I must say that the GOP better becareful at criticizing Obama on this because this war was grossly unpopular.

This isn't Obamas decision.
He clearly wants to perpetuate this lie for campaign purposes. The 2008 Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) expires in December. Iraq did not extend it the way it was written in 2008. The US did not agree to Iraqs new terms -- so it ended.
Granted, Obama will do victory laps all of 2012 that "hey look what I did" (no, you failed to do this in 2009 as you promised "elect me and i will")
