gotta admit: the video isnt that clear about it, but here's how i guess it works.

if iphones running the OS X kernel and OS X is based on UNIX, then you basically have a unix terminal on your phone. its awesome if you know what you can do with that, but i myself am only starting to understand Linux right now...Its nothing a standard consumer would need, i guess, but great for any professional

another thing, I installed terminal on the iphone as well and terminal tells everyone that the iphone is in fact running OS X, I was a little skeptical about the iphone running such a sophisticated OS but it actually does and terminal proves it, what it also means is that you can install windows on the iphone because OS X supports windows, the iphone is a hackers delight

Umm.. its an ARM processor, you can't install windows on it. And its a pretty scaled down version of OSX at that, basically the kernel, its own UIKit, and foundation... even all the unix binaries are just ARM binaries that hackers compiled for it.... again you will never run windows on this thing lo.

I love how the Terminal appears on the home screen. I suppose it can access the internet connection so you can do pretty much everything you can do on a Mac, from ping to SSH. This has potential. The other menu icons are gone tho :(

If you can get this terminal to telnet, and then create a cut and paste friendly simple .txt app (that syncs) you pretty much have it all.

Of course some kind of macros like Keyboard Maestro would be sweet, so you wouldn't have to retype commands repeatedly.
