i kind of like Apple's iOS devoces, but it's the only thing they're good at.they use MOBILE graphics cards in the iMac. You know, laptop versions of something like a 1gb GPU and even then, i could score two of them for the price of one on the site. It's not only that, but OS X just doesn't run as many programs as Windows.But iOS is decent, because it doesn't have to match cheaper expectations for the same thing. It's why iOS is probably the best operating system for mobile devices in my opinion.
Had an iTouch a while back. It was okay and all, then I find out none of apple's products support flash on the internet. When I went to a mac forum to ask why, their response was basically "we just choose not to". I told them that was pretty retarded and how I can not go without flash when browsing the internet, and they act like I'm the one who makes their customers their bitch. They didn't even have a jailbreak app for it. Why is Mac so against jailbreaking again? 80% of their customers do it.

And a lot of phones still run the 3G network. 4G hasn't kicked in yet and become popular enough. Besides, 3G is just fine as it is, no need to waste extra money to get access to a network that isn't even properly integrated yet.

and i had a droid x for a year, then a droid 3 for 6 days before i realized i made a mistake and switched to iphone. and for the record, droid one was trash compared to iphone when it was released. the eris (minus screen size) competed more in a performance standpoint.
everything else, widgets, speak to text, live wallpapers, flash player, 8mp camera, you name anything else won't be missed because all of these features negatively impacted the performance of my phone. never used lwp because if i switched home screens, it would lag like crazy. speak to text was a novelty. wore off real quick. never used it. widgets seldom came in handy, and the flash player made full html browsing a nightmare. coming from a honestly nutral person i prefer ios.
great advertising. but i still switched to iphone. they're both great platforms but ios is more perfected. android to me expecially on the droid x seemed like a beta version of the os and it didn't make sense to me how with all the power it had it still lagged all to hell. functionality wise the only thing i miss is navigation where in reality i used it probably 10 times ever.

There's almost no learning curve. It has that going for it. However, nothing in this Droid commercial was a lie. I never said Apple was the first company to release a audio device. They were the first company to release a very successful one. Also, the Newton wasn't a tablet, it was a PDA. Tablets are much more popular today because users have much more uses for them then back in 1990's.
I just would like to clarify. Without the IBM Simon, Droid wouldn't have smart phone technology. The Simon was the first phone that allowed you to use fingers to click buttons on a screen, as well as had multiple applications, and was truly the original "smart phone." The LG Prada was announced and released 2006-2007, before the iphone, which was rumored to be a copy of the Prada's first capacitive touchscreen smartphone style. The iphone does get credit for being the most popular, though.

everything else, widgets, speak to text, live wallpapers, flash player, 8mp camera, you name anything else won't be missed because all of these features negatively impacted the performance of my phone. never used lwp because if i switched home screens, it would lag like crazy. speak to text was a novelty. wore off real quick. never used it. widgets seldom came in handy, and the flash player made full html browsing a nightmare. coming from a honestly nutral person i prefer ios.

great advertising. but i still switched to iphone. they're both great platforms but ios is more perfected. android to me expecially on the droid x seemed like a beta version of the os and it didn't make sense to me how with all the power it had it still lagged all to hell. functionality wise the only thing i miss is navigation where in reality i used it probably 10 times ever.

2. You can restore to un-void your warranty, and there is ZERO chance of breaking your phone. Just DFU Restore.
3. Widgets can be very battery-intensive, and consume a lot of CPU. Not to mention RAM.
4. Android accepts ALL Apps into their store. Even if their shitty and extremely low quality. Apple is very picky about the quality of the Apps when you submit one.
5. Go to an Apple Store. They can do it for you

I just would like to clarify. Without the IBM Simon, Droid wouldn't have smart phone technology. The Simon was the first phone that allowed you to use fingers to click buttons on a screen, as well as had multiple applications, and was truly the original "smart phone." The LG Prada was announced and released 2006-2007, before the iphone, which was rumored to be a copy of the Prada's first capacitive touchscreen smartphone style. The iphone does get credit for being the most popular, though.

Boys and girls, it shakes out like this: Most android phones have better specs than whatever the current iPhone might be, until recently iPhone's had only the worst network available to them(in terms of data coverage), Android is open source and does not require the phone to be jailbroken to preform as the owner desires, most of the good apps are FREE for Droids (like my free-tethering app), and Droids better allow for multi-tasking (at the expense of battery life). If you jailbreak iphone it's awesome, I can play dreamcast on it and get flash internet and I can run the droid OS on it,
