  • Hi Robwert, I,m not sure I sent a messege to you regarding grainy images I was getting with this camera, but I managed to sort it, it was to do with this ISO Apparently, and now it takes really lovely pics !! :)

  • Hi There

I have just bought this Camera today, and I am very Dissapointed with it, you say the pics are very Crisp and clear, but when I take pics they are so grainy, and I just don't know why .

any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated

  • GREAT review, and a different world to those slick & cheesy "The Fuji Guys" (seriously, what dork thought of that? LOL). You seem a genuine guy, and this is a review I can trust, so thank you!

    God bless you!

  • Very nice review ... iS there any filters or effects when you shoot ???

  • I have owned Sony, Fuji, Nikon, Panasonic, Kodak, Olympus & Canon digital cameras on and off.. the only times I were happy was when I had a Canon handy. Some of the other brands have a few nice features but overall Canon is king! I'll stick with Canon PowerShot SX230 HS 12MP... or the PowerShot S95, the best of the best!

  • do you know if the 300exr has a self-timer?

  • @frankie2234 Yes, the camera has a timer function.

  • great review

  • Thanks for this review. It helped me so much! I'm a tech-savvy Realtor and my main camera needs are as follows: 1. Easy, yet feature rich should I want to get creative 2. 25mm wide angle lens 3. Min 10x optic zoom w/ability to zoom video 4. Image stabilization 5. Mac Compatibility 6. SD** memory I narrowed it down and compared it to: Nikon Coolpix 8100 Sony Dsc-HX5v Fuji Finepix F300EXR Canon PowerShot SX210 IS The Lumix won. I love it! Perfect camera for me & shoots great video! No regrets!
  • @SmithLakeHomes Lumix? Which is that one? Panasonice Lumix DMC - ZS7?

  • @altoidfart

Yes - Lumix DMC-ZS7 - I was able to get a hands on all of them over the Christmas holiday at various stores. Well, all except the Zs7 - all I could find was a ZS5 which is very close but with scaled down features. I also like the instant video mode button in the back of the zs7 (I don't think it's on the zs5). It's nice to not have o switch the knob at the top to do a quick video. I spent an exhausting amount of time researching and comparing. I am extremely satisfied with my zs7.

  • @SmithLakeHomes Panasonic*

  • Good review mate ¬
