Most conferences only have 1 dominant team, the SEC has 3: Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas, the SEC also has 5 teams that already have 10 wins on the season, and in case you haven't noticed it is 2 SEC schools playing for the NC, not two BIG 10 teams. Since 98 when the BCS began the Big-10 has won one title, Ohio St 02. The SEC has won 8 by 5 different teams (I’m counting this year). There are a lot of criteria by which to measure NCAA football, but seems to me National Championships is a pretty good one. Cold weather? Sadly, the other conferences are catching up(Pac-12 looks good and so does the Big Ten), but the SEC is still the conference to beat in college football.

The '07 championship was different-----Ohio State played its worst game of the season against Florida. I personally didn't think played a great game when they came out of the second half and played Tresselball when OSU still needed to score. LSU has some great players. Our coaching staff and the strategy they are trying to implement has caused me and every other Tiger fan a lot of anguish. I mean, who goes conservative against Florida. That being said, Ohio State looks to be going to #1. All I'm gonna say is pray that there isn't an undefeated SEC school.

I have to say, we were bound to lose that game. (OSU) Im an OSU fan and it sucks seeing you guys shove the 2 NC losses in our faces... But, if we didnt Rough the Punter, we get the ball back. But we roughed him. Then what happened? LSU drives drives drives and caps it off with a touchdown. We should not have been in the NC that year i will admit. Now to SEC speed. I will admit, you guys are the fastest conference. But the only slow people on OSU is in the defensive and offensive lines.

Hey man I'm a big SEC/LSU fan & I have to say I totally agree with what your saying. Yes, LSU beat Ohio State in the national championship game, so what? That's one year that we were "the national champions" but there's no reason for anyone from the SEC to be shoving that one game in Ohio State's face. Both LSU & OSU were good teams that season and still are. LSU fans need to act like we've been there before and stop acting like a bunch of children over this thing. Peace out and Geaux Tigers!!!!

dude i will give u LSU guys ur props. hands down you were the best team all year, basically destined to win it all. but for everyone talking about speed, OSU has speed everywhere but in the trenches, which is where the debate comes from. ppl from OSU can run, except our O-line, which this year has to be the worst in the history of college football looking at every team in existance. IMO, the Washington Huskies' O-line is better than the Bucks O-line. sorry, I'm an OSU fan, but thats the truth.

We didnt split a bcs title with anyone, dumbass. The reason why the SEC isnt in the NC every year is because it's impossible to go undefeated in the SEC. The SEC is THAT good from top to bottom. BTW, the SEC speed is fact, and it's old too, bc its been that way for a long, LONG time.
