nope not usually, maybe though if you need the engine bleeds to heat up the anti ice if theres snow, because APU bleeds can't do that. But yeah, usually you start after push, that way your farther away from the ground crew and stuff like that.

20 kts is the max(per the FAA), but I'll slow it down depending on traffic/departure sequence.

Flight Sim X made lots of people mad, but so did 2004 when it first came out. It seems as if they make the program for future systems. Give it 2-3 years for the Quad Core system prices to come down, and the addons to come up to par. By then you'll be saying Flight Sim 11 sucks. LOL

most airlines will use APU on takeoff and during the climb to 15000 because that way you don't waste engine power.

yeah they do, they will usually use it up to 15000, it can suply bleed air up to 15000, but it varies with the SOP's, the company I went with ALWAYS uses APU until 15000

I really don't know, if it was weaker it would only supply up to a smaller altitude but it will still supply bleed air for sure. I don't know much about the ERJ's apu

Thats the FS2Crew First Officer doing his checks... Its not part of the PMDG 737.

Ignore my last post but are you using the fs2crew 737-700 for your pmdg 737-700? Also I'm going to get PMDG and I'm wondering what is the checklist like? Is it like the co-pilot tells oyu to flip this switch and you do it? Or is it like you do the checklist by yourself?

yes, it is FS2Crew for the PMDG, and if you listen to the video, it pretty much explains your last question, copilot runs through the checklist, you check it, thats bout it...

yea, copilot and captain run through all checklists together. As for knowing the systems, apu, gen, etc... I suggest to study up man, all I can tell you. PMDG comes with a whole manual about it, and what everything is and does, along with other info out there on the web. Also, FS2Crew comes with all the different checklists, if memory serves, there are around 10, but I can't exactly remember

if you have only ever worked with the default flight simulator aircraft, there is going to be a fairly large learning curve to the pmdg craft

yup its the pmdg 737-700NG, but its not the default fs2crew. FS2Crew makes a PMDG specific 737 600 700 800 900NG program. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks
